I don't understand the previous review of this ale because I sampled this the other day with a quite different experience. Honey colored and clear with a thin white head. Sweet pleasant fruity aroma with a light malt background. Distinct sweet aroma of apricot and citrus. Not your typical blonde ale but a nice sweet light bodied ale that I enjoyed.

Deep yellow. Nose malty and light, lemony and sweet. Very sweet upfront, ends dry with nutty malts. Very light.

notalush (4913) - Denver, Colorado, USA - JUL 5, 2008
Rating of 2008 batch at Lake Grove location - clear golden pour - grassy and herbal aroma, with some lemony notes - cool, melon rind-like flavor up front, followed by moderate bready malt, and a crisp, semi-herbal hop finish - fairly refreshing - not bad really, but a coppery, metallic character develops after a while that makes it a lot less enjoyable (a lot of their beers have developed this lately - ???).
