Bottle. Pours a clear yellow with a few white bubbles lingering around the edge of the glass. Apples and some vinous alcohol notes, a touch of wood and a hint of cork. Sweet, with apple juice and a nice amount of fine carbonation. Not a lot going on, but easy drinking on a hot summer day. Finishes with some lingering sweetness. Decent enough.

Clear, slight effervescence, medium body with medium-low carbonation.
Aroma: musty apples, champgne yeast, and a touch of sweetness.
Taste: sweet apple, champagne funkiness, and bit of tart acidity.
A nice blend between sweet & fruity and dry & musty.

I’m transferring ratings from another beer app to this one. My tasting notes wouldn’t be accurate at this point since they weren’t captured at the time.

Half decent hard cider. Faint aroma of green apples. Taste of sweet green apples as well, finished tart. Carbonation ran thin, but that could have been the tap (kicked soon after)

I prefer my cider dry rather than sweet. Last night at a restaurant I tried a Strongbow and a Kelly’s side by side. I preferred the Kelly’s as it tasted less sweet. The Kelly’s was very light in color and moderately carbonated. It tasted like a light bodied, fermented cider. Not like a sugary-sweet apple juice that has a little bit of alcohol in it. The light body made it easy to drink, but it would be better if it had more flavor and character. All in all, though, I thought that it was OK. Not phenomenal, not terrible, but OK. I would buy it again if presented with a choice between it, Woodchuck, and Strongbow.
