2.6 AROMA 3/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 5/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 12/20 dp (532) - uniontown, Ohio, USA - APR 15, 2008
not nearly as filling as blue, which is a good thing, cleaner taste, had two after fertilizing the lawn this evening, so my ratings may be biased due to my exertion.
2.4 AROMA 4/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 5/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 9/20 hotstuff (3213) - Indiana, USA - MAR 13, 2008
Bottle. Small white head that mostly diminished with very little lacing, transparent, visible carbonation, and a yellow hue. The nose was light hops and malt and a tad skunky. Flavor was light hops and malt. Woo-hoo. Not! Fairly smooth mouthfeel and light-medium body. IMO absolutely nothing special about this beer whatsoever. It definitely did not wow me by any means and therefore I have no interest in having this one again.

As products from mega-breweries go, this one isn’t bad at all. The pour is not-quite-clear golden, with a large white head. Aroma is malt...and lots of it. Taste is as malty as the aroma with just a bit of sweet malt in the background. Finishes relatively clean. Biggest draw back is that the actual flavor is a bid subdued and lacks depth. Not amazing, but like I said...as offerings from major brewers go, this one’s pretty good.

as far as plae lagers go, this actually has some flavour! Imagine that!
Some sweet malt notes, and a touch of hops, dont get me wrong, it’s still a Labatt product, and thats abundantly clear, but it’s not bad, and drinkable.
3.1 AROMA 5/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 5/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 14/20 Parrothead (277) - Ephrata, Pennsylvania, USA - FEB 6, 2008
Pours a slightly hazy yellow-gold with a bright white head of fairly large bubbles. The head did not last very long, but left a nice lace on the glass. Of the 4 beers in the sampler case I bought, this is the onl yone that had a noticible aroma - and a decent one for a megabrew. Sweet malt was there, with some hops, by golly! Advertised as an all-malt beer, I believe it. A nice beer.

Nothing much to say really. Got this form a friend who works at a distributer, thanks Chris! I kind of like Regular Labatts but this? Not overly bad just weak, ting of hops and watery grass. Moving on!
3 AROMA 4/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 6/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 12/20 semiotic (12) - Walton Hills, Ohio, USA - FEB 2, 2008
Laudable effort by Labatt--much better than the usual swill. I only wish it were available here in Cleveland, besides Blue, Blue lt., and Ice. I got it in the heritage Sampler Pack. 50 is decent, Classic is a bit better--the Honey lager is sickeningly sweet and tasteless. Blue is Blue.
2.7 AROMA 5/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 6/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 9/20 redlight (2209) - Winter Park, Florida, USA - JAN 10, 2008
Honey malts with a slight citrus aroma. Pours blonde with a thick white head. Honey lager malts, crisp lager flavor, with a little hop bite. Nothing special, but good for Labatt’s.
