2.8 AROMA 4/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 6/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 12/20 mstockton (217) - Frankfurt, - NOV 15, 2004Pretty decent beer. A little heavier than the ypical Blue and more taste. A little more on the malt and hops side than Blue. If you can find it and you like Blue, then give this a whirl.
1.3 AROMA 2/10 APPEARANCE 2/5 TASTE 2/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 4/20 zimbo (334) - SCOTLAND - NOV 30, 2012
Meant to be more sophisticated and refined compared to other labatt products (is that really possible?) but to me the palate is slight but still angular enough to recreate the liquid form od a stale cigarette butt. Pretty unpleasant really.
2.8 AROMA 5/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 6/10 PALATE 2/5 OVERALL 12/20 reebtogi (3383) - Edmonton, Alberta, CANADA - FEB 6, 2012
341ml bottle pours a pale golden color with a 2 finger white head that dissipated almost immediately. Aroma is light grains and hops. Taste is light malty sweetness with a modest hop bitterness that finishes clean. Light to medium body and pleasant carbonation. Slightly above average for a macro lager.
2.2 AROMA 4/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 4/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 8/20 retinadoc (102) - - DEC 25, 2011
Bottle. Medium carbonation. Slightly fruity aroma and flavor. One of the better Canadian lagers. Clean finish. I’d buy it if my faves weren’t available that night.
1.2 AROMA 2/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 2/10 PALATE 1/5 OVERALL 4/20 rodenbach99 (2546) - Longueuil, Quebec, CANADA - AUG 10, 2010
Bouteille de 341ml. Bière blonde dorée pâle, un peu de mousse blanche, nez classique des bières canadiennes, un peu de malt et de houblon mais très peu. En bouche la bière est désaltérente, fraiche, ordinaire. Mince en bouche.
2 AROMA 4/10 APPEARANCE 2/5 TASTE 4/10 PALATE 2/5 OVERALL 8/20 BückDich (5466) - McCall, Idaho, USA - OCT 5, 2009
Bottle: Pours a clear yellow gold with light head. The nose is malty with some sweetness and husk. Nothing in the hop department. Thin flavor with a snappy biscuity tail. A little sweet in the finish like a non-alcohol lager.
2 AROMA 4/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 3/10 PALATE 2/5 OVERALL 8/20 BigBeer45 (1131) - Michigan, USA - SEP 22, 2009
Had a couple of bottles at my In-Laws, pours a clear light gold with a foamy white head, faint malt aroma and some malt bread sweetness, light malt flavor and little hop bite, a little better than the regular Labatt Blue, nice for a Summer day.
3.4 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 14/20 BigBen2120 (688) - Derry, New Hampshire, USA - AUG 17, 2009
12oz bottle purchased as part of a mixed 12-pack. Pours a light straw-colored translucent body with a short-lived half-inch white head. Smells sweet, slightly vegetal. Tastes vegetal, sweet, hints of bread. Very light thin mouthfeel with moderate carbonation. While initially unimpressive, this beer grows on you as you drink it. Nothing special, for sure not the best example of the style, but an easy-drinker and I wouldn’t refuse it if it were given to me.
2.7 AROMA 6/10 APPEARANCE 2/5 TASTE 5/10 PALATE 2/5 OVERALL 12/20 fredthecat (278) - CANADA - JUL 17, 2009

2 AROMA 5/10 APPEARANCE 2/5 TASTE 4/10 PALATE 2/5 OVERALL 7/20 thehoff (569) - Kalamazoo, Michigan, USA - JUL 15, 2009
I just rated the Beer 30 and sad to say this looks eerily similar. Dry sweetness in the nose. Still picking up corn. Hope this isn’t indicative of the flavor. Taste is a little bit better, more of a sweetness, syrup even. Some grassy qualities. Reminds me of some now defunct Kraftbrau beers.
2.7 AROMA 4/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 5/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 12/20 Narnad (1345) - Wonder Lake, Illinois, USA - JUN 9, 2009
Pours a very clear, golden color with a thin white head and moderate carbonation. Aroma is a herbal and spicy hop aroma with a pils malt sweetness and not much else. Flavor is a mixture of light noble hops, sweet pils and some hints of lemon grass toward the end. I was expecting a very corny and grainy flavor but overall this wasn’t that bad for a pale lager. Light, crisp with some decent flavors making it a very drinkable beer for a style weighted down with crappiness.
