jvmiller (273), Mt. Pleasant, Michigan, USA May 18, 2008 Pretty standard IPA, not too bad, nothing great. Little on the low side, probably wouldn’t recommend at all. Meh is right.
brewssuds (9), British Columbia, Canada does not count Aug 14, 2008 Fairly light and crisp. I’m not sure I’d call it an IPA, but I quite liked this one. Very drinkable and clean tasting. I could drink a lot of these in one session. blipp (683), Grand Island, New York, USA Aug 2, 2008 Bottle. Pours hazy orange with and off white head. Sweet aroma, with peach and apple. Medium body. Flavor is lightly sweet, with caramel, peach, and a strange, not quite metallic quality. It’s drinkable, but not that good. HoppyGuy (92), USA Jul 28, 2008 Bottle. Pours a copper color with a thin beige head that dissipates after a minute or so. Aroma of a meadow, plus some hops. Thin taste, low on hops, with a slightly metallic aftertaste. Not a very good representation of an IPA. This will be my last Sleeman’s. Disappointing. hopdog (4525), Lansdale, Pennsylvania, USA Jul 26, 2008 11.5 oz bottle (IPA 46). Poured a medium and cloudy amber color with an averaged sized white head. Aromas of grass, caramel, and some citrus. Non-existent tastes, but if I reach really deep, caramel and some hops. Thinner body. Beerman6686 (654), Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania, USA Jul 26, 2008 Pours a light amber color with a small white head. Aroma is grassy, malty and metalic. Flavor is a bit off too, not hoppy enough to be an APA much less an IPA.
