Cask (handpump) @ Harlequin, 108 Nursery Street, Sheffield, South Yorkshire, England S3 8GG.
Clear medium to dark amber color with a average, creamy, good lacing, mostly lasting, off-white to white head. Aroma is moderate malty, roasted, sugar, sweet malt notes. Flavor is moderate sweet and bitter with a average duration. Body is medium, texture is oily, carbonation is flat. Borring and very indusrial. [20090417]

The aroma is malty sweet. The color is nutbrown and it has a fine bubbly head though very fast disappearing. The flavor is sweet, malty, and very light. It has no character and is therefore a very average beer.

Cask handpull at The Crown Hotel, Liverpool. Some yeast on aroma, some malt in mouth, but this is a very uninteresting bitter with an odd yeast to it.

Cask Conditioned??? Not sure about this as I think it is filtered and put on sale straight away. Little character to the beer, nothing to latch on to as a distinguishing flavour. Boring.

Cask at the Lord Russell in Bloomsbury. Light fruity, near cola, aroma. Dark amber with an off-white head. Medium body with light carbonation. Fresh fruit with darkish roasted malt. Slightly harsh like a brown can be. Somewhat watery - flavor washes over all. Pleasant.

Cask (handpump) at The Blue Ball, York, October 2006. Amber colour with a creamy sparkled head. An entirely plain Northern English style bitter. Low aroma. Dabs of dry malt and dusty hops in the flavour. Light mouthfeel. Not really much to dislike here. Or to like for that matter. A purely functional session bitter in the old style.
