Off the shelf beer cheep and nasty not a beer I would get regularly. Would only drink it if I was given it under duress ---Rated via Beer Buddy for iPhone

A popular session ale that I often buy a case of cheaply from my local supermarket for BBQ’s, camping & general get togethers, it’s not too strong and very easy to drink & has one of the longest lasting heads of most ales I’ve had. Both original & smooth taste ok but I much prefer the smooth. Not one for the serious ale drinker but I can see why it is so popular.

Tap @Harvester, Bristol. Medium white creamy head, dark amber colour, nice lacing. Toffee aroma with a hint of nuts. Light body, average carbonation. Alright, but no excitement.

For what it’s worth, one of the better beers I had in London. Very smooth, the nitrogen does this beer well. Decently balanced. It’s good and a very fitting beer.
