Draught @ The Pub, Valletta. Pours slightly hazy light copper brown with stable, creamy off-white head. Clear aroma of hops, malt, yeast and a touch of fruit. Bitter, hoppy flavour, with notes of yeast and malt and metallic touches. Bitter aftertaste. Very low carbonation. Good on a summer evening in a Maltese beer garden but otherwise I donít think Iíd appreciate it.

Can into pint. Nice looking and smooth. Taste leaves room for improvement. Ok but not stellar.

Pours a complete pint glass of head! Nitrogen foamed obviously. This settles to a very atractive inch head which is sustained. Little or no aroma which is disappointing. There is a thin malt taste but the ov riding impression is that of beer juice, or diluting beer. That is the beer flavour has been added to water. Maybe it was made in a gigantic soda stream. Shame.

440 ml nitro can at home, as Extra Smooth, with ABV at 3.6%, poured into a Guinness glass. Amber colour on a clear and transparent body, head almost two fingers tall, thick and creamy, with great retention, leaving light lacing as it slowly collapses. Aroma of toffee, light caramel, notes of milky chocolate and coffee. Taste unfortunately is not on par, some toffee and chocolate, coffee but much less than the aroma leads to believe, malts, light metallic notes. Thin watery body, low carbonation. Overall this one begins well, good looking beer, smells good but itís all downhill from there.

UPDATED: MAY 21, 2014 Immediate maltiness on the nose. Medium carbonation, smooth, medium texture. Dark caramel aroma, sweet fruits and a little citrus, which provide some bitterness. Sweet malts linger to the end. A well-balanced beer, but nothing extraordinary!

Extra smooth can. Pours amber with a thick creamy off-white head. Very sustainable from the widget. Good lacing. Aroma of caramel, toasty malt, orange notes. Taste is hops, bitterness, touch of citrus and roasted malt. Fairly sweet. My partners dads drink of choice so I end up drinking a lot of this. Itís fairly bland.
