From the Bottle at Chris O’s, GBBF Week 09/08/2008 Some spiced aroma. Amber mid brown coloured and crisp on the palate with a little dryness in a full malt finish.

Bottled An amber coloured beer with barely any head. A fruity, tobacco accented aroma with burnt cardboard and chocolate. Quite woody and nutty in the mouth. Again cardboard. Very malty.

Bottle, thx to fonefan. An amber, clear beer with an off-white head. Biscuity malty aroma with a pleasant fruityness. Nice, but very gentle. Malty sweetness, in the flavor, quite biscuity, with fruityness and a decent bitterness. Biscuity, roasted finish. Medium body. A quite pleasant malty beer, but a bit too gentle. (080822)

Bottled. An amber beer with a thin tan head. The aroma is sweetmalty with strong notes of caramel and toffee as well as a light touch of spices. The flavor is sweet malty with notes of caramel, toffee, and spices among them nutmeg. Thanks to fonefan and Brugmansia for sharing.
