2.4 AROMA 5/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 4/10 PALATE 2/5 OVERALL 10/20
Light pinkish gold pour with a thin white head, that actually has decent retention for a cider. Aroma is Green Apple Laffy Taffy, malic acid, and a light overripe apple note that lingers a bit. Flavor is muted overripe, slightly ground rotten apple and a little odd plantiness up front, leading to a sharp Green Apple Jolly Rancher/Laffy Taffy tartness in the middle and increasing malic acid tartness toward the finish, along with a little more booziness than it should have. Light body, syrupy, sticky feel moderate carbonation. OK overall, a few off notes definitely bring it down, though.

Pours gold with no head. Flavor I start apples and is very sweet and slightly syrupy. Medium bodied for a cider. Finishes sweet. I like it. I think it is underrated because it is AB.

Pour is a clear gold, no head. Aroma is apples but way sweet. Flavor is just sweetness. I see someone below said this is just like sucking on a jolly rancher candy. That’s a spot on description. Only AB would take a drink that’s been around forever and ruin it by sweetening the hell outta it for the masses.

I absolutely love Johnny Appleseed. I actually got to try it before it came out in stores during a Budweiser tour. And I keep this stock in my home. It crisp, clean and taste great!

I don’t understand why people hate this so much. Its a little too sweet, but other than that it’s not bad.

I’d drink this if there was a choice of only this or water, but it would be a close tie. Tastes like a lightly carbonated Jolly Rancher "apple" candy.

12 oz. bottle at the Anheuser-Busch Biergarten in St. Louis. Pours a clear pale gold with a small white head. Pretty clean apple throughout, and not as aggressively artificially flavored-seeming as the other fruited stuff we tried that day. Light-bodied, with a crisp, dry lingering Johnny Appleseed finish.

Bottle @ Greg’s dump, pregaming Trailhead Tuesday. Pours a clear yellow appearance with a white head. Spritzy, Martinelli’s, apple pulp aroma. Pretty high sweetness. Very juicy. Apple sauce flavor. Too sweet. I’d take a Redds Apple Ale over this.

355ml clear twistoff. Wet fart! Something don’t feel right
Wet fart! Soiled my pants tonight
Seriously not THAT bad for a cidre like this, total sweetness, and its still garbage but better than the michelod light ultra crap.

Bottle at StL brewery. Nose is a sugary green apple. Pour is amazingly clear with no head. Taste is sweet up front with apple and dries out quickly with some tartness. Meh.
