Jolly Pumpkin Bam Biere

Crushed with Jakebra and Rybra. Alright, farmhouses are officially fahkin weird. Why is hay and poop appealing? Cuz it is, I just don’t get it. The finish in this one is as dry as a good champagne, too. Bizarre but good. Rerate! Superior saison. Had to up the rating .3 cuz I had no idea what was going on before.

12oz bottle. Pours a cloudy orangey/amber with a ginormous white peaky head. Aromas of sour citrus and dusty yeasty funk. Flavors very similar with the addition of some spice. Very carbonated.

Bottle. 10 cl. sample. Pours yellow with a white head. Sweet n’ sour aroma with candy-like hops in the background. Nice. Flavour is a mix between tart and citrus hops. Dry, bitter, tart finish with a lingering bitterness behind the tartness. Feels light but still with some punch. Too much carbonation. 28-10-08.

Pretty good. Light bodied, tart, and refreshing. Huge head and very carbonated, a little fizzy and thin. Had lambic like tartness and some vinegar taste to it. Some tart fruitiness. I could do without the vinegar. Unique beer.

Very light pale yellow with a thick fluffy white head. Very hazy. Sour lemony aroma with lots of earthy funk. A touch of vinegar. Bitter lemon flavor with woody malts. A little bit sour. Great saison!

I enjoyed the fruity, sour bite of this ale... a fine mix of flavor, very refreshing...

Bottled at 3 små rum. Cloudy golden; yeast-particles. Yeasty with a lot of tropical fruits. Fresh and sourish with leather and stable.
