| 4 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 8/10 | 4/5 | 8/10 | 4/5 | 16/20 | Sep 15, 2008 Opaque golden-hay with a thick white head, lacing all over the glass. Nose of lemon, orange, flowers, pepper, and hay. Flavors are more sour, orange, pepper, aittle sulfur, and strong bitterness.Long-lasting spicy yeast. Palate is dry and foamy. Nice saison, though a little bitter for my taste, like Oude Beersel or Saison Dupont. A saison/sour combo that grows more sour and unfortunately watery with warmth. Still, it’s complex, refreshing, drinkable, and enjoyable. Yum! gotohelunc (473), Chapel Hill, North Carolina, USA
| 3.1 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 6/10 | 4/5 | 5/10 | 5/5 | 11/20 | Sep 12, 2008 Bottle. Cloudy yellowish orange with a massive, billowing thick head. Strong lacing. Very unusual yeasty lemons flavors and nose. I can tell this beer’s really well made, it’s wonderfully smooth and full of unique flavors, and I’m pretty sure it tastes exactly like what the brewer wanted it to taste like. Unfortunately, I don’t much like this flavor. There are some of those funky farmhouse, barnyard flavors that I typically like, but something about this just rubs me a little bit the wrong way. Eh, maybe it’s just this time....interesting enough that I may try it again. kiefdog (1586), Tampa, Florida, USA

Pours a murky caramel golden with bright white foamy head. Good retention and lacing. Aroma is floral with spicy, hoppy, and yeasty notes. Flavor is interesting: citrus notes combined with yeast, bread, banana, pear, spice and a tartness. Generally light to medium body with a tangy, tart finish. Complex ale. stouby (1937), Holbaek, Denmark
