This delicious farmhouse ale is named for our Jack Russell, who struck by a car, bounced back in fine tenacious Jack Russell fashion, and is brewed for those of us who knocked down, have picked up, dusted off and carried on undaunted. Golden, naturally cloudy, bottle conditioned and dry hopped for a perfectly refreshing balance of spicy malts, hops and yeast. Please enjoy our beers in good health, And look both ways when crossing the street!

Great farmhouse ale/saison. Very yeasty, sour and wild with hops that taste of pine, some herbal peppery notes, citrus and a little grass. Not very sweet in the malt. Quite bitter in the aftertaste.

On tap at St. Augustines on Rare Beer Tap Takeover. It is Sour Brown Ale, not a Saison. Aroma is similar to Flemish ales with cherry and woody notes. Taste is pretty the same + bready notes. The only differece to Flemish ales is in hoppy bitterness, which is really high in aftertaste. Good beer.

Bottle, 750 ml. Courtesy of Kova. Shared with him and Miro. Pours cloudy yellow with huge white head. Yeasty, citrus, funky, spicy, barnyard, hoppy. Bit tart with bitter finish. Dry. Medium bodied. Good stuff.

Cloudy, straw coloured body. Bubbly, big white head. Very dry. A little tart. Lemongrass. White pepper. A tad salty. A little sour. Like a Farmhouse Ale meets a Gose.

2016/07/20 - Pours a cloudy deep gold colour with a thick, foamy white head that slowly reduces and leaves ample lacing. Aroma is barnyard funk, lemon, doughy yeast, floral hops and sour grapes. Taste is tart lemon and green grapes, barnyard funk, dough, floral hops and pepper. Mouthfeel is medium with sharp carbonation and a crisp, very dry finish. Complex, but all the pieces fit perfectly. Really lovely beer that is very well put together. ---Rated via Beer Buddy for iPhone

Bottle from LCBO. Decants a misty golden with a thick, frothy cap across the top. The froth settles into a nice veil. It’s beautiful to look at in the glass. It’s a very funky, down home in the shed farmhouse saison, with great sour notes. Carbonation is brisk, almost exploding on the tongue. Squeezed lemon, brown tea, sour green grapes, flower petals, pepper. Fantastic tart, dry finish that puts on the breaks nicely. Rare combo of high drinkability & complex flavours. Highly recommended.

Bottle from LCBO. Funky Brett aroma, with lemon and straw. Pale yellow with fluffy white head, nice lacing. Lemon and straw up front, tart apple middle, lingering dryness. Quite lovely.

780 ml bottle. Clear straw pour. Voluminous white head, tons of puffy white lacing. Aroma is slightly floral and mildly funky, bit of barnyard. Taste is moderately tart, lightly straw, some spice notes and pretty dry in the finish. Nice light body, fairly soft carbonation.

750 ml bottle from LCBO. Pours a cloudy dull golden orange wth large white head with good retention. Aroma is lemon, tropical fruit, spice, some yeasty funk and a bit of a floral note. Flavour is quite fruity with tart lemon, apple, other fruitiness, barnyard funk, moderate spiciness, flowers and light graininess. Fine carbonation. Impressive.
