Commercial Description:
This delicious farmhouse ale is named for our Jack Russell, who struck by a car, bounced back in fine tenacious Jack Russell fashion, and is brewed for those of us who knocked down, have picked up, dusted off and carried on undaunted. Golden, naturally cloudy, bottle conditioned and dry hopped for a perfectly refreshing balance of spicy malts, hops and yeast. Please enjoy our beers in good health, And look both ways when crossing the street!

Very light yellow pour. Nice lacing. Fruity nose. Somewhat sweet. Overcarbonated. A touch malty. Not bad at all. Very frothy clingy head.

Highly enjoyable Saison, still my favorite "summer" type "seasonal" beer. Jolly Pumpkin does well to make this very drinkable yet sensational enough to warrant its price tag. Bitter and smooth.

Batch 273,274. Happily, this is the first JP beer I’ve opened that failed to spray most of its contents out on the kitchen counter. Good start! Poured a lovely honey gold with a white head reminiscent of a lemon meringue pie. Funky yeast and citrus nose. Flavor was beautifully spicy and lemony with just a whiff of hop bitterness. Finishes very dry, very refreshing. This, along with the nice light, bubbly mouthfeel make it the perfect beer for a July heatwave.

bottle. Pours hazy gold with enormous rocky head. Aroma of yeast, fruit, with slight sourness. Flavor is thin but delightful, with slight sourness. Pomegranite or some other unidentified fruitiness. Nice and dry.

Bottle courtesy of bgburdman9. Pours a slightly cloudy gold colour with a big white head, lots of carbonation, and some lacing. Big funky aroma with some brett notes and some sourness. Little lacking in the flavour department: just thin. Some nice tart notes with a little spice but also something akin to ?soap? Okay I suppose but not a favourite of mine.
