May 17, 2008 Tasted 4/30/08. 12oz bottle. Hazy with a golden straw hue. Lacing yeasty off-white head. Orange musty aromas. Clove bready notes. Medium bodied and bitter. Grassy citrus and Cherry 7-Up. Moderate effervescence. Touch chalky. Tons of fruity esters. Apples, melons and lemons. Mild tingle on the tongue. Rolling palate. Mild malts. All bitter yeast with a nice tart tingling grapefruit hop flavor. Tasty.

Pours a cloudy golden color with a large fluffy white head that leaves bit of sticky lacing. Aroma is spice, fruit, a bit of funk, and hairspray. The taste is dry, straw-like funk, citrus and floral notes, and a hint of sourness.

May 12, 2008 Poured from a 750 ml. bottle and the look was a nice amber with a healthy off white head. Aromas of spice and fruit. Medium to light mouthfeel. Flavors of sweetness and mild tart sourness. Not extremely lengthy

May 12, 2008 hazy yellow with large white head. high carbonation. flavor is subtle with hints of citrus towards the end of the malt aspect and then a very dry finish with a refreshing tartness, similar to a gueze. hops are present mostly in bitterness. very nice

May 12, 2008 750ml bottle from The Ritual Tavern San Diego. Lots of sourness and funk on the nose, started to calm as the beer warmed. Flavor was also funky, citric and sour. JP’s are starting to grow on me.
