Commercial Description:
This delicious farmhouse ale is named for our Jack Russell, who struck by a car, bounced back in fine tenacious Jack Russell fashion, and is brewed for those of us who knocked down, have picked up, dusted off and carried on undaunted. Golden, naturally cloudy, bottle conditioned and dry hopped for a perfectly refreshing balance of spicy malts, hops and yeast. Please enjoy our beers in good health, And look both ways when crossing the street!

Pour is a bright gold with a very large white head. Aroma is citurs and spicy and very peppery. Flavor is more of the citrus with some barnyard and follows through with some creamy yeast. A very easy drinking and light version of the style.

Bottled at Monk’s Café, Stockholm. Hazy pale golden, small lively head. Funky citric nose. Dry, crisp and lively. light bodied and very drinkable. Fresh, light citric acidity. Elegant and lively, Uncomplicated with the drinkability of a lambic, but even more sparkling. Not minblowing, but a superbly drinkable beer.

Light bronze with huge, fluffy shaving cream head. Aroma is full of yeast with a hint of banana. Enjoyable piquant, effervescent body. Absolutely crisp Belgian yeastiness. Nice mouthfeel. Distinct Belgian flair and beer flavor with, again, a hint of banana, as well as a tad of biscuit. Straddles the flavor profile of a saison/Belgian golden ale. Excellent crisp saison.

Amber with white head. Spicy aroma with notes of cinnamon and clove. Also notes of pumpkin, apricot and sourness. Medium body. Flavor is more sour than the aroma with a light spicyness and light fruit. Nice.

Bottled, poured into a tulip. JPBB pours tangerine orane with a medium head. It smells like a wet dog with a hint of peach. I found barnyard grass, grapefurit and champagne in the taste. This highly carbonated beer is fruity, dry and has a quick finish.

On cask at Redlight. Pours a light orange amber with a thick tan head. Apple sour dry aroma. Taste is dry tart, apple and slightly sour. Very light and refreshing. Finishes very clean with a sour bitterness. I am not really a sour fan, but this is really tasty.

Bottle, 12 oz. First of all, this beer has the most head of any beer I’ve ever tasted, seen, whatever. If, like some of the raters below, you don’t get a head, you have the wrong beer, a bad beer, or you have the most gentlest pouring motion ever witnessed on our planet. The lacing is so thick, it’s more like horizontal head growing from the side of the glass, a freaking wide-mouthed trappist glass! My lord. No head??? What??? What are people rating here??? Ok, anyway. Aroma of grass, light hops, funk, sourness, earthiness, meadowness, lusciousness. Flavor expands on these notes with complex earthy/sour/grainy notes. A nice balance between sweet and dry. Fantastic brew, and terribly underrated at 3.67.

Finally tried this one. From a bottle at Raleigh WBF. I loved this beer. Funky, earthy, spicy, sour with hints of summer fruits and some floral notes. Nice wild yeast, good oak, but not over the top at all. A unique saison, for sure. Can’t wait to pick this up at Sam’s soon.
