| 3.7 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 8/10 | 5/5 | 6/10 | 3/5 | 15/20 | Aug 16, 2009 Pours a glowing transluscent gold with a puffy, lasting white head. The nose has funk on the level of some weaker sour ales, with citric and herbal hop notes, as well as some musty/earthy tones. The flavour, while unsupported by a very thin palate (even for a saison), is very well hopped, with strong herbal and grassy impressions that fade into flavors of lemon rind and subdued earthy funk. The finish is very short and dry, cutting out very quickly, which makes it a real quencher. Mid palate, the beer tastes a bit soapy, but aside from that and the watery finish, this is a pleasant tasting, quality session brew. I would definitely recommend this to fans of the style. basewars (145), Albany, New York, USA

| 3.7 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 8/10 | 4/5 | 7/10 | 4/5 | 14/20 | Jul 29, 2009 On draft at xnoxhatex’s wedding reception, man that was awesome! Pours a light hazy peach color with a thick white sudsy froth. Aroma is lightly malty, yeasty, lightly fruity, touch of funk, maybe some vanilla. Flavor follows aroma but is definitely more delicate and lighter, yeasty, super refreshing, light funk. Light bodied with nice sparkling carbonation, very easy drinking and refreshing. hobbersr (394), Lethbridge, Alberta, Canada
| 3.6 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 7/10 | 4/5 | 7/10 | 4/5 | 14/20 | Jul 26, 2009 Pours a hazy straw colour. The head is white, large, and laces well. Aroma is quite tart, lots of Brett in here. Oranges, cherry skin, lemons and that good old barnyard funk. The taste is very citrusy and tart. Lemon, lime, grapefruit, grass, sour cherries, and a little wheat twang. Mouth feel is quite nice. Overall I found this one much like the La Roja, very enjoyable, but just a little too simple to get super high marks.
