COMMERCIAL DESCRIPTION
This delicious farmhouse ale is named for our Jack Russell, who struck by a car, bounced back in fine tenacious Jack Russell fashion, and is brewed for those of us who knocked down, have picked up, dusted off and carried on undaunted. Golden, naturally cloudy, bottle conditioned and dry hopped for a perfectly refreshing balance of spicy malts, hops and yeast. Please enjoy our beers in good health, And look both ways when crossing the street!

$4 for the 4oz. pour served at the Grog. Hazy, yellowish, and wheaten, with notes of champagne yeast, biscuits, apple cider vinegar, spelt, hay, and some light funk. A solid sipper.

2012 bottle. Pours light gold with a white head. Pretty powerful brett smell. Taste has the brett funk backed with light spice and hop bitterness. Mouthfeel on the thin side but overall very nice for a 4.5% brew.

Probably the world’s greatest session beer. Pours hazy gold with a huge rocky head. Aroma is bandaid, lemon, burlap, dirt, and a slight cheesy funk. Flavor is tart apple skin, lemon, yeasty dough, burlap, a strong bitterness, lingering grass, and plenty of funk. Tremendous. Just tremendous.

Good beer. A bit too light. I would like more flavor, more smell, more mouthfeel, more everything.

Bottle (750ml): Golden. Cloudy with course head but persistent. Subtle malt but dominated by spice, citrus and mostly brett. The brett is far to dominant. Very dry. Slightly bitter but probably due to CO2. Sour , acid edge. Spice citrus palate that is unfortunately dominated by brett on the finish. Mid weight and length. Too dirty for me.
