Jolly Pumpkin Bam Biere

Cloudy golden color. Smell of sour apples, malt, hops, ginger, lemons, oranges, pepper and flowers. Taste of lemons, ginger, bread, hops, pepper, malt, cinnamon and grass. Very nice.

Light golden cloudy colour, foamy white head. Aroma is of citrus, horseblanket and some spices. Flavour is of sour citrus and some spices. Lots of carbonation.

Bottled. Cloudy golden color, medium off-white head. Aroma of some yeast, citrus, barnyard, some horseblanket, some tartness even. Quite sour and dry taste, slight malty, some citrus, bit spicy. Dry palate. Quite ok.

75 cl Bottle. Aroma has yeast, citrus, barnyard. Cloudy, yellow coloured with an off-white head. Taste is sweet, bit sour/tart, a little gueueze like, bit citric. Nice dry finish.

75 cl bottle. Orange blonde color. Citric, peppery aroma. Hoppy, peppery, citric flavor with some tartness and hints of nutmeg. Oily and peppery finish. A bit thin, but nevertheless an excellent beer!

Thanks to Ucusty for this bottle. Pours a cloudy straw color, slightly burnt orange, big fluffy white head. Aroma is definitely funky, as expected from JP: hay, grass, malt vinegar, mustard, a bit of wet dog, pepper. Earthy grassy flavor, extremely dry and peppery, quite a sour bite, but it’s a bitter dry and earthy sour. Big dryness and pepper flavor in the back. Light mouthfeel, well-carbonated, but not out of place. Pretty good stuff overall, but a little too dry for me.

Poured a unfiltered amber color with major head. Aroma was like other jolly beers a little sour smelling citrus lemony. Flavor was of citrus, apples spices and yeast. Not bad

hazy golden yellow with a moderately thick white head. mild to moderately sour with a nice mix of spice and malt flavors. The finish is slightly more malty than desired. Overall a great saison.
