Commercial Description:
This delicious farmhouse ale is named for our Jack Russell, who struck by a car, bounced back in fine tenacious Jack Russell fashion, and is brewed for those of us who knocked down, have picked up, dusted off and carried on undaunted. Golden, naturally cloudy, bottle conditioned and dry hopped for a perfectly refreshing balance of spicy malts, hops and yeast. Please enjoy our beers in good health, And look both ways when crossing the street!

Pours a clouded gold with a quarter inch white head that stays. Nose is kind of mild with a slight yeast presence. Flavor is very smooth and traditional saison. Feel is a little less meaty than I like, but still fairly good. Extremely drinkable. A damn good saison, and an American produced one at that.

Bottle: Pours a hazy honey-golden with a fizzy white head. Bright fruity aroma. Lots of gentle lemon, apple, honey, damp canvas, and mild spices; enticing. Has a mild flavor with a solid tartness. Overall it’s pretty lemon-y and has musty earthy undertones of barnyard and a white pepper hint. The finish is very clean. A straight forward, highly quaff-able Saison.

Hazy dark yellow body... massive long lasting whipped cream like white head. Brett sourness in the nose along with citrus. A departure from a typical Saison in flavor.. tart, sour flavor finishes on the dry side. Major thanks to vyvvy for this bottle.

12oz Bottle. Nice cloudy yellow color, big huge rocky white foam, unbelievable lacing, unreal retention. Aroma it slightly citric, with noticeable brett influence, very nice maltiness showing also. Flavor is very Orval-like, lots of peppery goodness, very dry finish, good bit of tartness. Fantastic palate, very hard to believe this clocks in under 5%abv. Simply world class.

330ml bottle. nice golden straw color. HUGE white head, wicked lacing on my glass. Aroma is sooooooooo nice. Big peppery notes. Lots of apples, and plums, and some citrus, coupled with that great saison pepperiness is outstanding! Flavour is so complex. Slight tartness reminds me of a lambic, but its so smooth. Great fruit, and peppery notes. Lots of sour hops. Wow, just a wicked saison. One of my new favorites for the style.

Bottle... Poured a cloudy bright orange with a huge head formy like a fluffy cloud. Fruity, egg-like aroma. High carbonations with flavors that are reminiscent of a floral, fruity wine, as well as yeast, barley-malt and strong spices, very tart, sorta like a jolly rancher...pretty enjoyable.

Bottle. Golden beer with a light head. The aroma and flavour is lightly sour and dry. Overall a reasonable beer.

Bottle. Pours a hazy pale yellow color with a big white head. Fruity and slightly tart citrus aroma. Sweet malty citrus flavor. Slightly tart citrus finish with some bitterness in the aftertaste.
