Commercial Description:
This delicious farmhouse ale is named for our Jack Russell, who struck by a car, bounced back in fine tenacious Jack Russell fashion, and is brewed for those of us who knocked down, have picked up, dusted off and carried on undaunted. Golden, naturally cloudy, bottle conditioned and dry hopped for a perfectly refreshing balance of spicy malts, hops and yeast. Please enjoy our beers in good health, And look both ways when crossing the street!

(Bottle) Pours a hazy light amber color with a nice amount of head. Spicy, musty aroma. Mildly bitter and astringent. Decent palate, despite the strong carbonation. Grassy, with some vegetable character as well. Nicely balanced. Enjoyable!

12oz. Bottle: Aroma is lightly sweet. Smells of spices including clove, pepper, and coriander. Poured orange in color with a huge, foamy, rocky, off-white head that lasted throughout. Excellent lacing. Very cloudy. Lots of particles. Flavor is medium to heavily sweet. Tastes of spices, yeast, orange, Sprite, and Sour Patch Kids. Full body. Watery texture. Lively carbonation. Sweet finish. Overall, too sweet and over carbonated.

A 12oz bottle thanks to stine. A hazed golden pour with a creamy white head. An aroma of spicy yeastiness. A flavor that is dry, with spices, and a good bitter finish. Mouthfeel is surprising in that it isn’t fizzy but pretty soft. A very good beer for the style.

Bottle, Many thanks to Craig aka Cgarvieuk for picking this up from the GBBF for me Poured dull hazy gold with floaters aplenty, aroma sour and hoppy. I had this beer off of Craig without realising what it was, never looked it up and with very little indication on the label as to what style/sort of beer I was gonna get. So my initial thought was that it tasted like a feeble lambic at first with bitter, sharp lemony bite very refreshing and a great summer beer, but my curiosity got the better of me and I had to come and check on here as to what on earth this beer was meant to be, a Saison? To be honest I’ve had very few Saison’s to know whether this is typical of the style but so I’m not the best judge but it tastes like its trying to bridge a gap by being an extreme example. Having tasted this and thinking it was a lambic I wondered what others had to say about this I must say I agree with Harrisoni (Ian) with his comment below it is a bit mixed up and not sure what it is, thats not to say that its bad far from it, in fact its a real grower but it just tastes a bit confused for me to really love it.

What the hell is this stuff? Had on cask at Happy Gnome. Pours a sickly looking yellowish, cloudy, orange color. This had zero carbonation, perhaps from being on cask? Very dull, flavorless, and just weird. Probably should try it fresh from the bottle to see what it is really like. Not for me.

Bottle, poured a beautiful yellow color with the slightest hint of orange. Nice full head that is in no rush to dissipate. Aroma of citrus (lemon and maybe pomelo), tastes of hay, citrus, coriander, nice spices. Great summer saison.
