| 3.7 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 7/10 | 4/5 | 7/10 | 4/5 | 15/20 | Jul 26, 2009 Bottle. Batch 299/300. Pours a hazy yellow-gold, with a lacy white head. Nose is straight up brett, with notes of salty lemons, orange rind, horseblanket and stale hops. Yeast, wheat, and orange/coriander notes, along with a prevailing dry lemon character best describe the palate. Mouthcoating due to some obvious wheat, dry, slightly spicy, sour finish, with plenty of bretty horseblanket. A nice, sour version of Saison, very tasty, but I was expecting more complexity. Very refreshing dry beer! 502Flavors (617), Louisville, Kentucky, USA
| 3.9 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 8/10 | 3/5 | 8/10 | 4/5 | 16/20 | Jul 24, 2009 bottle 9.99 into snifter (batch 324/325). Really hazy yellow/orangish color with not much of a white head t all (4.5 abv... whats up here?). One of the best saison aromas I have ever smelled - the typical citrus, clove, and wheat aroma with a nice vanilla quality and a good brettish yeast note to boot. The flavor is pretty much the same. Lot more brett than I expected given the non-mention of Brett in the ratings I read. I am not a saison guy, but I dig this one because of the brett. Nice refreshing easy going summer beer with a light dry sharp finish. Medium to lite body with medium carbonation HenrikSoegaard (4321), Randers, Denmark

| 1.5 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 3/10 | 3/5 | 2/10 | 3/5 | 4/20 | Jul 19, 2009 Smell is artificial green apple sourness with sourdough bread. Light golden with floaties like stars that orbit the sun. Taste is bubble gum with green warhead sourness but only half as intense. Has the right carbonation to be satisfying and refreshing during the warm weather months. Maybe I just don’t get it. Sorry Jolly Pumpkin. 2009 12 oz. Gabler (86), , New York, USA
