Commercial Description:
This delicious farmhouse ale is named for our Jack Russell, who struck by a car, bounced back in fine tenacious Jack Russell fashion, and is brewed for those of us who knocked down, have picked up, dusted off and carried on undaunted. Golden, naturally cloudy, bottle conditioned and dry hopped for a perfectly refreshing balance of spicy malts, hops and yeast. Please enjoy our beers in good health, And look both ways when crossing the street!

Bottle.A hazy golden color pour with a huge rocky white head, highly carbonated , lots of jagged lacing left. Aroma is slightly yeasty, spicy with a bit of tartness. Flavor is slightly sour and yeasty, coriander and citrus with a hint of tangerine in the finish, not as sweet as other Saison I have had . Light body with a crisp ,clean mouthfeel , and a dry finish. Very refreshing and sessionable , a very good beer

Enjoyed from a 750ml bottle in a small chalice. The beer pours a bright yellow to straw-gold, with a large white head. The aroma brings notes of lemons, pilsner malt, coriander, and a touch of hops. The palate is pure saison: drying maltiness, citrusy, and bone-dry in the finish. Overall, a great saison.

On Cask at Spuyten Duyvil. Pours a cloudy golden corn yellow colour with a soapy water type white head. Aroma of funk, sour grapes. Taste is a bit watery. Flavour is similar to the aroma. Has an interesting perfumy, slightly bitter aftertaste.

Aroma=watered down/mustard greens. Pours a cloudy pale hay color with off-white non-existent head. Flavor: same dijon and heavy dark greens taste with some hops. Very pleasant and enjoyable.

Batch #367 / 368 Pours a hazy straw gold with a large, off white head. Aroma is tart apples, yeasty funk, and a little bit of hops. Flavor is quite sour and a little fruity. Light and effervescent in the mouth. Very crisp and slightly dry finish. Just a little bitterness coming through on the end.

Tap @ Spuyten Duyvil. Pours a cloudy yellow color with a thin white head. Aroma is very yeasty, with earthy notes, grass, and citrus detectable as well. Taste is roughly the same - classic saison with a bit of a sour aftertaste and a lighter body than I’m used to for the style. It was solid, but I wouldn’t call it spectacular.

Aroma of horse and fermented fruit. Pours a cloudy yellow. The taste is dry and souer with tones of gooseberries. Very carbonated.
