Commercial Description:
This delicious farmhouse ale is named for our Jack Russell, who struck by a car, bounced back in fine tenacious Jack Russell fashion, and is brewed for those of us who knocked down, have picked up, dusted off and carried on undaunted. Golden, naturally cloudy, bottle conditioned and dry hopped for a perfectly refreshing balance of spicy malts, hops and yeast. Please enjoy our beers in good health, And look both ways when crossing the street!

(Bottled, 0.75l) Hazy golden with a medium, frothy and lacy head. Aroma dominated by sulphur, but also some funky sourness and pale malt. Sourish flavor with lemony hops, pale maltiness, sulphury hints, and a dry, astringent finish. Light to medium body with medium carbonation. Probably infected, as Bam Noire was quite good.

Draft at Sugar Maple. Pours hazy golden with fairly effervescent white head. Aroma is citrus, funk, grass and some wheat. Flavors are pretty similar with less funky sour notes than the aroma would imply. A little noticeable hops in the finish. For some reason I remembered liking this a little more, but it is still a nice beer.

Bottle from Knightly. Pours a hazy golden color with a huge fluffy white head with a lot of it sticking around. The aroma is wonderful, full of spices with herbal, grassy and fruity notes. Flavor isn’t as assertive but shows a lot of the same with sour funk, citrus, spicy dry hopping while remaining very light and refreshing. If not for the price I could drink this one on a regular basis. I’m really starting to dig Jolly Pumpkin and probably need to do some re-rating of some of my other reviews.

Bottle. Pours a nice hazy golden color with a fantastic white head leaving good amounts of lacing on the glass. Aroma is lightly funky with notes of oranges, pineapple, mango and other nice tropical fruits. A bit spicy in a belgian way combined with the typical american hops makes this aroma really wonderful. Flavour is also fantastic and complex: quite dry with some light funky barnyard, citrus, mango and pineapple and a slight tartness, spices, green apples and a good bitterness in the finish. Mediumbodied with an average to lively carbonation. Very complex and tasty, almost underrated!

Another casualty of beerfest, when I come across a god beer but I am to drunk to know better.

Bottle Pours golden and slightly hazy, light white head. Tastes a bit acidic, bitter with a dry finish. Well balanced and complex

750 ml bottle. It poured a hazy golden liquid with a nice ice cream looking foam that left allot of lacing. The aroma was sour, yeasty with a hint of sweetness. The flavor was similar but it didn’t taste as sour as it smelled and the taste dissapeared to fast. However I liked this beer. My moms comment wasn’t as positive: "Smells like cow piss!"

Bottle. Semi hazy golden. Big white creamy head. Subtile but complex beer. Aroma is sweet and fruity with a small sourness in the background. Citrus hops, wild strawberries, orange. Taste is sweet and sour. First sweet of berries, then sour of lemon. The aftertaste is very tart and hoppy. Perfect balance! Refreshing, easy to drink, yet complex.
