COMMERCIAL DESCRIPTION
This delicious farmhouse ale is named for our Jack Russell, who struck by a car, bounced back in fine tenacious Jack Russell fashion, and is brewed for those of us who knocked down, have picked up, dusted off and carried on undaunted. Golden, naturally cloudy, bottle conditioned and dry hopped for a perfectly refreshing balance of spicy malts, hops and yeast. Please enjoy our beers in good health, And look both ways when crossing the street!

Bottle at sampling session. From notes (Oct. 8, 2011). Big funky and citrusy aroma, with Brett, lemon, and herbs (oregano). Beautiful cloudy gold color. Quite subtle flavors: grass, herbs, horsy notes, and lemon. Pleasantly sour, dry, and refreshing. Note: This beer, sampled on an outdoor deck in the hills above Kyoto, attracted a giant Asian hornet, and that kept us away from it for a while. Great stuff.

Bottle purchased at the Hoppiness Beer Store in Capodistria-Slovenia and consumed in Kosovo. Bottled 12/2014, 1 year old. Pours a slightly hazy golden color, very tick white head a bit irregular but with so much retention. Nose: brett, a bit piney, pretty much citric but more lime. With the time some yellow pulp fruit comes up, mostly peach. Very complex, floral too. Pleasant nose! Mouth: definitely a frizzy start in terms of carbo. as the beer breaths carbonation tents to lower, leaving the floor to a watery sourish character. Farmhouse feel of milled malts, a bit tart in the beginning but dry in the end. Meant for session and summer evenings.

375ml bottle served in a tulip glass. Pours a cloudy yellow color forming a big creamy and soapy white head with good retention and only few spotty lacings formed and left in the glass. Nose is sour and fruity with some metallic hints. Notes of apple and pear. Apple vinegar. Sweet pale malts. Apricot, white grapes and leather. Grassy and flowery hops finish. Taste follows the nose: appel, pear, apricot and white grapes. Metallic notes. Hints of leather in the mouth too. Sour. Notes of apple vinegar. In overall, a dry and light sour taste. Light body. Medium carbonation. White grapes and apples in the aftertaste. Excellent drinkability. Masterpiece.

750 ML bottle 3/14/13 bottling Slightly hazy golden color. Bright white bubbly head that is long lasting and leaves all sorts of lacing. Nose is a bit soft. Mostly citrus and spice. Taste is citrus, spice, oak, and bread, a tad bit thin but complex. Refreshing and lighter bodied. Light amount of funk in this. Solid offering.

Bottle share from friend. Nice light, floral saison. Pale golden body with temporary airy head. Spicy, herbal aroma with grassy notes. Yeast comes into play more in the flavor, nice slick body but low ABV makes it exceptionally smooth.

Pours a yellow/golden with a nice white head and some good lacing. Aroma has some moderate funk, light grain, green apple, and some oak. The taste is a bit peppery with some oak and funk and some very light fruit. Crisp mouthfeel with a light/medium body. Easy drinking and very good.
