| 3.8 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 8/10 | 4/5 | 7/10 | 4/5 | 15/20 | Apr 6, 2006 Bottle courtesy of Schroppfy! Pours a golden amber with a bubbly but dense white head. Nose instantly exudes Bretty aromas, tart fruits, horseblanket and light litterbox/cat urine hints. Lots of dusty, cobweeby yeasts in this as well as flowers and light spices(hints of pepper). Taste is suitably bitter and hoppy, though floral. Sour fruit flavors intersect with Belgian yeasts, soft wood notes, horseblanket, semi-sweet maltiness, light Bretty notes and spices. Body is light and very bubbly with a sharp carbonation feel at times. However, like some other saisons, it still feel "full". Ends on a spicy and floral hop note. Lots of bitterness during the finish. Flowers, yeast, soft, citrus fruit flavors, light barnyard, and a nice tartness. Very pleasant saison! RichardGretton (3167), Leicestershire, England
| 3.5 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 7/10 | 4/5 | 7/10 | 3/5 | 14/20 | Sep 23, 2007 Bottle. Golden beer with a light head. The aroma and flavour is lightly sour and dry. Overall a reasonable beer. GeneralGao (3081), Iowa City, Iowa, USA
| 3.2 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 7/10 | 4/5 | 6/10 | 2/5 | 13/20 | Feb 20, 2007 12 oz bottle. Poured a hazy golden color. Head was big and bubbly with good retention and lacing. Aroma is yeasty bread dough accented by coriander and citrus. Like all of the Jolly Pumkins I’ve tried so far, this one is extremely effervescent. Acidic and prickly up front eventually giving way to a softer citrusy orange flavor. Finishes with a touch of wet stone. Decent, but not great. Jukkabro (3054), Tampere, Finland

Medium sized white head. spicy aroma with lemon and yeast. Medium bodied. Flavor is also lemony with same yeastiness and crispy palate, hops come up in dry aftertaste. Well, refreshing and spicy flavor. daknole (3050), Scottsdale, Arizona, USA
| 3.1 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 7/10 | 3/5 | 6/10 | 3/5 | 12/20 | Feb 15, 2009 Bottle. Deep golden color with a decent sized white head. Funky aroma, vinegar, tart apples, lemons, and old baseball glove leather. Flavor hits with a pretty good dose of hops and tartness. Some wood notes are evident along with the hops. Beershine, I fail to enjoy this style..again. But I will keep trying...I guess! WeeHeavySD (3044), San Diego (Hillcrest), California, USA
| 3.5 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 6/10 | 3/5 | 7/10 | 3/5 | 16/20 | Feb 26, 2008 750 ml bottle I’m guessing via trade and because of its location in my cellar and the fact that I forgot I had this and almost bought a bottle the other night and they were sold out so I’m glad that I didn’t buy it. So how about that for some stream of conciousnes rating. Shared with my girlfriend Cyn. Gusher alert, this thing gushed and I poured it and it gushed some more holy gushers batman. Pours orangish yellow with a 3 finger fuzzy mountain head. Nose is very yeasty. Taste is sweet, very very lightly spiced. Also its pretty mellow and decent. Not the best by any means from JP, but good. caesar (3036), Bunnik/Utrecht, Netherlands
| 3.7 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 8/10 | 3/5 | 8/10 | 3/5 | 15/20 | Oct 15, 2007 Bottled. Cloudy golden color, medium off-white head. Aroma of some yeast, citrus, barnyard, some horseblanket, some tartness even. Quite sour and dry taste, slight malty, some citrus, bit spicy. Dry palate. Quite ok. | 3.4 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 6/10 | 4/5 | 6/10 | 3/5 | 15/20 | Jul 26, 2007 in the bottle from beertopia. pours a muddy gold like the missisipp with an enormous off-white head that cannot be contained in a tulip glass. the aroma has that "old" smell to it - much like when you first walk into grandma’s house. the beer is fairly sour at first, then the tartness abates suddenly into a long oaky aftertaste. there is some orange and cloves that emerge when the beer warms, but overall this is not dexter’s best.
