Commercial Description:
This delicious farmhouse ale is named for our Jack Russell, who struck by a car, bounced back in fine tenacious Jack Russell fashion, and is brewed for those of us who knocked down, have picked up, dusted off and carried on undaunted. Golden, naturally cloudy, bottle conditioned and dry hopped for a perfectly refreshing balance of spicy malts, hops and yeast. Please enjoy our beers in good health, And look both ways when crossing the street!

Bottle. Excitable but no gusher. Cloyingly sweet nose with lots of coriander and citrus. Hefty dose of acidity, sourness, and possibly vinegar. Golden pour with a sticky, creamy head. Extremely, brutally dry taste (at least until adaptation). Spices muddle together and end up leaving little impression. Some nice faint piney notes in with a splash of sourness, but not what I was expecting from the nose. Also would benefit from increased yeastiness. Crisp and slightly tongue numbing despite the low abv. Body is medium-full, aftertaste has a lick of lemon. Certainly easy to chug, but I’m not really looking for that in my Saisons. An off-balanced disappointment.

Minor gush upon opening. Pours a huge, spumous white head with a deep-golden straw body. Great refined nose with notes of grapefruit, pepper, flowers, brett, and fresh grain. Nice yeast signatures in the flavor with moderate tartness and some drying, herbal bitterness. Somewhat numbing due to the dryness. Light bodied, but palatable. Very nice, crisp, dry, and tantalizing all around. A great little table beer with lots of subtleties. This is the real deal.

Hazy yellow-orange body, medium off-white head. Excellent, complex aroma with white grape, banana, tangy breads, a hint of lemon, and a sour twang imparted by the yeast. Spice present but light. Light, bready, fruity body, characterized by bubblegum and light apple. Quaffable, tasty, and well-made.

Courtesy of Cindy <P> Aroma is an overripe citrus fruit mash and fairly musty. The cloudy golden color of the body holds a creamy, two finger thick, white head. Tart and mildly critic fore...great mouthfeel-creamy yet still wet and quenching..musty overripe oranges, mild spice...finish is throat tickling crisp with more musty notes and a twinge of sourness. This would pair well with spicy foods I think.

(bottle - 750 ml) Light hazy golden pour with a ton of white foam and lots of carbonation. Aroma is slightly spicy and dry with a mild sweetness and a very mild sour note. Flavor is tart and dry at the start. Very dry and earthy in the middle with a dry and tart finish. Almost like a carbonated chardonnay.
