Commercial Description:
This delicious farmhouse ale is named for our Jack Russell, who struck by a car, bounced back in fine tenacious Jack Russell fashion, and is brewed for those of us who knocked down, have picked up, dusted off and carried on undaunted. Golden, naturally cloudy, bottle conditioned and dry hopped for a perfectly refreshing balance of spicy malts, hops and yeast. Please enjoy our beers in good health, And look both ways when crossing the street!

Farmhouse stank in the aroma, some banana, clove, bubble gum and light floral hops. Thick white head that lasts. Lots of multi-colored floaties dance the cloudy, effervescent, deep golden ale. Tingly and carbonated with some residual baking soda. Crisp summer hoppiness is very tangy, and quite tasty.

12 oz. bottle courtesy Boutip. Pale golden colour with a huge fully lasting fizzy, creamy, and rocky off-white head. Tart citrus blend aroma of lemon, lime, orange, tangerine, and grapefruit with yeasty and dusty notes. Toasty cereal, grapefruit, candyish, and yeasty flavours with a dry fruity and lightly pithy bitter finish. Light bodied, effervescent but dry and refreshing mouthfeel. Nice stuff.

Massive thanks to Beerdrenched for picking this beauty up for me. Pours hazy orange with a fizzy white head. Aroma is smooth and fruity with a good amount of spice and tangy sourness. Medium / light body. Starts with dry nectar fruit and some earthiness, spiciness, coriander and hops. Then lots of carbonation takes over the palate. After than there is lots of spice (mainly hop spice) and a good amount of earthiness in the finish. Very nice saison. I with this Jolly Pumpkin beer was available in my area - pity. (8/3/7/3/16)

Rerate notes: After having several bottles this has grown to be one of my faves for a lower alcohol beer. There is a lot of pleasing wild yeast, oak and overall funkiness that isn’t found in many reasonably priced beers. The amount of flavor packed in this is fantastic. This is a consistently great beer by a consistently great brewery.

Pours a light straw gold, haze, and a very fluffy sticky white head. Aroma is initially straight brett, funky, farmhouse, lemony and slightly sour with a lime finish and even some salty hints. Light flavor and probalby a very very low FG- lemony salty, similar in flavor to a leipziger gose. Light funk, citrus, fresh hay, lightly phenolic. Body and finish are both light and bone dry. Great infected saison- stars out great, but finishes a bit weak. Might be better if it was amped up a bit in abv and if the FG wasnt so low. Nice though.

Minor gush upon opening. Pours a huge, spumous white head with a deep-golden straw body. Great refined nose with notes of grapefruit, pepper, flowers, brett, and fresh grain. Nice yeast signatures in the flavor with moderate tartness and some drying, herbal bitterness. Somewhat numbing due to the dryness. Light bodied, but palatable. Very nice, crisp, dry, and tantalizing all around. A great little table beer with lots of subtleties. This is the real deal.

draught. pours a murky orange body with a small white creamy head that persists as a small ring. beautiful pear aroma with plenty of dusty cereal and funk character. dry bready flavour with some sharp lemon and fruit characteristics. a very flavourful beer considering the low ABV. I could drink a lot of this.

(750ml bottle) Purchased at Whole Foods in Seattle for $6.99. Enormous frothy white head with a highly carbonated golden amber body. Looks like a ginger ale and vanilla ice cream float. Nose is great - wild weed aroma with a coriander backing and white pepper. Very yeasty flavour yet is muted by a mild vinegar linger. Sweet lemongrass, tart apples and a tinny head round out the tongue.

beer decants a hazy gold with a fairly small white head that retains well and leaves a lot of lace. fairly tart nose with smells of sour grain, barnyard funk and a bit of plain yogurt. perhaps some wet goat. flavor is sour but not vinegar-y, with lots of grassy/hay notes and a fairly firm bitterness at the end. very dry and tangy beer. stays fizzy the whole time you are drinking. very good and very refreshing.
