Commercial Description:
This delicious farmhouse ale is named for our Jack Russell, who struck by a car, bounced back in fine tenacious Jack Russell fashion, and is brewed for those of us who knocked down, have picked up, dusted off and carried on undaunted. Golden, naturally cloudy, bottle conditioned and dry hopped for a perfectly refreshing balance of spicy malts, hops and yeast. Please enjoy our beers in good health, And look both ways when crossing the street!

The aroma is a mixture of spice, floral, citrus, and earthiness. The color is a cloudy yellow with a frothy white head that lasts. The flavor is a combination of orange and lemon, spiciness, earthiness, and a touch of malty sweetness. The finish on the palate leaves a hop bitterness.

Pours a light peach with a slight haze. The head is enormous, rocky and frothy, very stiff. The head actually rose an inch and a half out of the glass with out spilling over the side. The aroma is heavy brett, lovely, lots of horse blanket, pineapple, cobwebs and lemons with light bready malts underneath. The flavor is very dry and slightly tart with lots of lemon, pineapple and bready malt, slightly floral with some pepper as well., especially at the end. Medium/light body with lively carbonation and slightly bitter, tart finish. Very refreshing. Another fantastic beer from JP.

Bottle: Yellow and cloudy, with some floaters. I was a little put off by the aroma at first, a really funky yeasty deal. As I worked my way through the beer I started to appreciate it. Flavor followed the aroma with some citrus and spice notes. Great mildly bitter finish that lingered for quite some time. Very interesting to drink.

I poured this into my new Surly glass that has curves in the glass walls up to the top so it has the same affect as the tulip, but without so much nose activity. Pours a great white head that leaves a great lacing behind and leaves the head still sitting there. Color is gold and very clear. The smell is sour and gueuze like, slightly fruity, and light. The first thing I noticed was the high carbonation on the mouth, almost soda like. The flavor is lighter than the smell and more wheat-like at the end. The sour flavor is very subdued and nice. Very drinkable, but hard to find. This one cost me $14/six pack.

Poured a hazy straw yellow with a fluffy white head. Aromas were oaky with mild notes of vanilla, spice, yeasty and floral hops. Flavors were yeasty, spicy and balanced with a citrus and fruit esters. Nice mouthfeel seemd to be oily and creamy with a nice carbonation to bring it together. Found my daily drinker!

12 oz bottle. Pours hazy yellow color with monstrous thick white head and lacing. Smells yeasty, citrusy, just the right amount of sourness. Tastes the same with a slightly dry finish. I could drink these all day... very refreshing, very yummy.
