jayme_9874 (747), Hamburg, New York, USA Aug 7, 2008 Did not take notes but an excellent, somewhat funky, hoppy, refreshing saison. allfreej (276), Louisville, Kentucky, USA Aug 5, 2008 Cloudy yellow pour, nice white head. Nose is citrusy, yeasty. Flavor is yeast, citrus, and spice. finish is nicely bitter with a refreshing mouthfeel. A very nice Saison. gilvanblight (322), Windsor, Ontario, Canada Jul 20, 2008 Very light yellow pour. Nice lacing. Fruity nose. Somewhat sweet. Overcarbonated. A touch malty. Not bad at all. Very frothy clingy head. CamdenD (562), Madrid, Spain Jul 20, 2008 Highly enjoyable Saison, still my favorite "summer" type "seasonal" beer. Jolly Pumpkin does well to make this very drinkable yet sensational enough to warrant its price tag. Bitter and smooth. guyinchicago (204), marengo, Illinois, USA Jul 18, 2008 As i cracked the top it started over flowing. its alive thank god i had my glass in hand. pours a cloudy yellow with a thick creamy tight one inch head I think this is my first saison though i do have one in the cellar from dark lord day 2008. aromas of friut and hops taste is of hops.spicy malts and some citrus flavors and other fruit esters. thin and lively with a mild sweet bitterness from the finishing hops a great summer beer
