Commercial Description:
One of Bam's brown eyes is, in fact, black. When mischief reigns supreme, it positively glows. Dedicated to the dark side; smooth, dark, incredibly delicious as only a Jack Russell with bat wings can be.

20090315 750ml bottle, batch 327/328. Dark brown, hazy, with a medium sized tan head that lasts throughout. Aroma is dark, roasty sourdough with some fresh herbal notes and cedar mulch. Soft, light, airy body is bright and refreshingly acidic. Flavors are lithe, doughy, tart, herbal, citrus, basil, fennel, apple must. One of my favorite session beers and a fair deal at eight bucks a bottle.

Bottled@omhper (thanks hanniku!). Deep amber colour, mediumsized beige head. Aroma is spicy, quite sour and also has some mild caramelly notes. Flavour is quite spicy, a bit brettlike sourness, berries and quite rich on the hops as well. Spicy and quite strange.

Crushed with Jakebra. Beautiful ruby pour with an enormous head that takes forever to go down. Sour cherries, some woody notes, awesomeness on the nose. Mouth-watering awesomeness in the flavor with an excellent, tongue-tickling mouthfeel that complements the sourness beautifully. This is one sexy brew. Absolutely love it.

Botlted, thanks Hanniku! Very dark brown, small head. Lemony nose with herbal notes. Light bodied with sparkling champagne-like mouthfeel. Tart and spicy with evident notes of nutmeg. Quite bitter finish.

decaturstevo’s Febmergency Tasting. Sample from a bottle thanks to decaturstevo. Batch 262 and 263. Dark red-brown with a thin off white head. Aroma is bretty funk, floral, slightly spicy. Taste is more florals, spicy, some berries and citrus and a nice sourness.

Pours dark brown with a dense, lasting tan head that leaves generous lace. Aroma is principally funk, with some fruit hiding behind the yeast. Flavor is smoky at the outset, progressing into a very worty malt backbone, decidedly sour with hints of lemon and tart cherry, and then onto a dry funk finish. Medium bodied, refreshing, but also somehow chewy. Creamy with subtle small-bubble carbonation.
