3.6 AROMA 8/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 14/20
Much thanks to hopdog for sharing this one off my wants list. Pours a translucent orange amber with a medium bubbly off white head. Aroma of musty basement, lots of mixed spices, kind of woody, hints of smoke and cherry. Flavor was earthy, light smoke, wood, some light spices, toasted malt kind of thin.

3.2 AROMA 6/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 6/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 13/20
Pours dark brown, mountainous craggy head lasts longer than the rest of the beer. Hard to describe what this smells like...
Tastes slightly sour, earthy, woodsy. I think I prefer the original Bam Bier right now. Will try again soon.

3.7 AROMA 6/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 8/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 15/20
Bottle. Pour is a very dark brown that lets a few reddish highlights pour through. Head is medium sized and leaves a little bit of lacing behind as it recedes. Aromas are of pungent spices and rotting leaves with a bit of a sour note. Flavor is toned down from some of the other JP offerings... the sour and spicy notes are still there, but not so overpowering. Flavor is earthy and sour.

3.5 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 15/20
Cloudy cola brown color; dense frothy off-white head. Earthy yeast and cocoa in the nose. Dry dusty yeast and cereal grains followed by hints of toast, then some faint chocolate in the finish. Just a touch of tartness slips in there as well. Thanks to swoopjones for sharing.
