COMMERCIAL DESCRIPTION
One of Bam's brown eyes is, in fact, black. When mischief reigns supreme, it positively glows. Dedicated to the dark side; smooth, dark, incredibly delicious as only a Jack Russell with bat wings can be.

Draft. Poured an amber-brown color with a small off-white head. Aroma is a touch citrus, with some slightly funky brett notes, and malts. Flavor is a little thin, but quite enjoyable none the less, citrus notes, some lightly toasted malts. Pretty smooth and enjoyable.

On tap at Jolly Pumpkin. Burnt on the nose. Pours a very dark red. Slightly weak version of the regular bam. ---Rated via Beer Buddy for iPhone

On tap at Black Squirrel’s Michigan beer event during DC Beer Week 2014. Pours a hazy amber with some creamy off white head. Nose has some very notes, wood pulp, dandelion greens, some crackery, a little raisin, a little cherry. Maybe notes of brett C. Flavor is mild, some turbinado sugar sweetness, less tartness, some bland mass produced cherry, a little lime. Watery lightly tart finish.

Very dark red pour from tap with a ton of off white head. Not much aroma but what is there is fruity. Very light mildly carbonated mouth feel. Beer is a little sour and very light tasting. Kind of watery. Its okay.

This is better than the regular Bam. Poured with a frothy cream-colored long-lived head with a bit of lace and a clear dark amber color. Aroma is quite mild yeast malt tart. Flavor is like aroma with a bit of roast thrown in. Body is decent. Nice beer. ---Rated via Beer Buddy for iPhone

Draft. Pours a dark brown. Aroma and taste are dark fruits and earthiness. Sweet with some sourness.

Slightly hazy brown pour with a white head. Earth and leather aroma. Taste is the same with light spice and slightly tart. Light body. A bit thin.

Bottled. Nose of chocolate and spice cookies. Cloudy brown-orange color with a huge airy head. Dry, bready flavor, chocolate, caramel, spices, grass. dry, light, interesting, yet not completely convincing. No where near as good as the blonde version.

Tap at Jolly Pumpkin. Pours hazy copper with a small ring of head. Aroma is spices with a hint of sourness. Tastes way overly spiced. Some burnt toast and very light sour dark fruit also. Not my kinda beer.

At common table on cask with my mom. Pours murky brown with almond, no head. Aroma is woody horsey barnyard. Taste is oakie, hint of tannic notes. Some almost funky tart, dark farmhouse is a good description. Light and thin but not necessarily drinkable.
