One of Bam's brown eyes is, in fact, black. When mischief reigns supreme, it positively glows. Dedicated to the dark side; smooth, dark, incredibly delicious as only a Jack Russell with bat wings can be.

PP Strong Ale Fest 07. 750ml from kp I believe. Pours brown copper with a thin tan head. Nose is very nice and sweet. Taste is sweet, ruddy, and a little thin, the nose was far better on this one for me.

(22oz bottle) Purchased At Hillside Liquor for around $11. Pours a dee red body and a creamy almond-coloured head. Nose of tin and apples. Flavour hits with both roasty and sour. Fairly one dimensional with a Flanders Red result. Interesting concept, not executed terribly well. ---Rated via Beer Buddy for iPod; and powered by RateBeer.com, the world’s largest and most accurate beer database.

Draft. Dark brown/black, leather aroma and taste, slight coffe malt without being roasted. Wasn’t a big fan of this, leather aroma was kind of a put off.

Bottle. Pours dark brown with tan head. Nose/taste of caramel, toasted grains, lightly sour fruits, oak and wild yeast. Mild plastic notes in deep background. Medium body.

Pours transparent brown with a big pillow like head. Nose is funk, lemons and sour apples. Taste is sweet and a small touch of sour, I would have expected more tart from the nose, but it didn’t come through. Perhaps with age, this will become more tart. Mouthfeel is crisp and coats the palate well.

Coppper colored, white head. Nose is sour, yeast and hay. Tastes a bit medicinal and yeasty. Nice carbonation. Interesting beer.

Aroma is big funk, red fruits, hay, barnyard, faint roast. Flavour is light funky sourness, some roasty malt notes, touch of fruit. Some else, nice.

Mahogany brown and clear, solid rocky head. Candy, quite some funk and really alive. Apple pie and barnyard. Some sour in the taste too, but thinner than expected. (At the De Molen brewery tasting.)

Bottle at monthly tasting @ De Molen. Clear dark copper pour, thin off-white head. Aroma is somewhat funky, a bit balsamic vinegar and varnish. Flavor is slightly sour, the brett just coming through. Nice balance, tiny sharp edge. Nice.
