COMMERCIAL DESCRIPTION
One of Bam's brown eyes is, in fact, black. When mischief reigns supreme, it positively glows. Dedicated to the dark side; smooth, dark, incredibly delicious as only a Jack Russell with bat wings can be.

Pours a dark brown/black with a substantial off-white head. Funky barnyard and spicy fruit aromas. Sweet flavor with some sour tartness with farmyard, lemon, and spicy fruit notes. Light to medium body with medium carbonation. Smooth mouthfeel with a dry finish.

Originally rated on 3/2/15. Cloudy dark copper pour with a frothy two-finger slightly off-white head that left some decent lacing behind. Sour, sweet and spicy aromas. Flavor is somewhat sweet upfront with a slightly sour edge, flavors of mildly sour fruit, yeast, caramel malt, light clove and earth. Highly carbonated with light to medium body. Overall it was pretty good.. not great.. but good enough.

Poured a very deep brown with a big throthy head. In the mouth, it is a bit thin with a surprising tartness.

Darker murky brown pour with a bit of white head. Earthy aroma with intense sour, berries and red wine. Soft carbonation, mouthfeel a bit frothy, finishes a bit carbon-y and dry. Berry in the forefront with some bitter tart that’s earthy, pear too.

Mørk brun tåkete med høyt kremete beige skum. Lukter sure bær, svisker, vanilje og trevirke. Syrlig noe sur smak. Vanilje i smak også. Mye kullsyre. Kort.

UPDATED: MAY 16, 2015 Coming off of regular bam beer. Aroma is Brett heavy. Funky. Lemongrass. State fair hay. Cherry. Oak. A most gentle pour gives a solid off white head. Looking at the pour it looks thin. Light brown. In the glass thin darker brown. Taste is pretty similar to regular bam. Funky. Tart. Yeasty. Like a burbon oak note . Lemon is quite present. Palate is dry dry dry. Medium light body with explosive carbonation. The palate is smooth hops wise but leaves a big sour note. Not a bad beer here. It seems a little more mellow that regular bam. Worth checking out. The price point is rough tho.

Bottle. Brown body with tan head. Aroma is fruity sour with herbs and spices. Very nice aroma for that ABV. Taste is not so intense fruity with some brett and sourness. Mouth feel is thin. Aftertaste is sour fruiy. Very nice one for this low ABV.

Bottled 750ml. -at Svijet Piva Zagreb. Muddy brown coloured, medium to big sized beige head, acidic fruity nose. Moderate sweet malty, slight acidic and spicy fruity, subdued brett and touch of wood with slight acidic fruity finish. Really good for (almost) one-dimensional beer. Success for sure.

Very nice saison that was a little bit more sour than normal. Low alcohol made it a little sweet as well which was a nice juxtaposition.

This was so thin, flat and watery that I felt maybe the bar was doing something wrong. I really don’t know. Has a slightly tart and fruity flavour, but very subdued. Finishes dry and vinous. But all of this is not very pronounced. Unexpected for a good brewery like Jolly Pumpkin. I’ll have to try this again if I have the chance.
