4.4 AROMA 9/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 8/10 PALATE 5/5 OVERALL 18/20 Cliff (397) - Avon Lake, Ohio, USA - FEB 4, 201111.2oz botle purchased from the Winking Lizard. Poured a cloudy deep orangy/copper with a big white head. Tart, lemon aromas with some suble background grassy/hay notes. Earthy upfront flavor, a bit mineraly, followed by a big blast of lemon tartness. Not overly sour, but an excellent compliment to the earth notes. Lingering sour finish and beautifully carbinated. I could drink this all day if it wasn’t so cost prohibitive.

Nearly opaque peachy orange. Looks really pretty.
Faint citrus(grapefruit stands out) and funk. Wood.
Sweet, sour, and vinous with lots of citrus and tropical fruit, particularly grapefruit, lemon, passion fruit, and pineapple. Finishes with bitter pink grapefruit and oaky funk. Dry as a bone.
I’d love to get another taste of this, but I doubt I’ll ever see it again. Rats!

Shared by ygtbsm94. Thanks Brad!
The beer appears straw yellow colored with 3/4" white head which leaves a thick sheet of sticky lacing slowly cascading down the snifter.
The aroma is delightful. Sour, funk, grass, lemons, lemon zest, pepper.
The flavor is equally enjoyable. Complex and well balanced. Loads of funk with a floral hop finish. Lemons and a hint of assorted citrus. Really drinkable. I would love to have more of this. One of the most delicious beers I have had from Jolly Pumpkin.
