5th Annual MBG Winter Beer Festival, Grand Rapids. Hazy, pulpy yellow body, thin off-white head. Very nice perfumey, flowery nose. Slightly tart body, floral and herbal, with modest sweetness. The zingy, bitter juniper berries become evident after a couple sips and add an interesting complexity. Very nice.

Had this on tap at the MBG Winter Fest 10’. Poured light golden color. Aroma was earthy spruce, aromatic herbs and earthy hops. Taste was light malty sweetness, a touch of funk and a very dry finish. Very light feel in the mouth, quite dry with sharp carbonation. Not bad, but I think I will stick with regular bam.

Sampled at the ’10 MBGWF. Golden colored pour with a big loose white head. Minty, floral an herbal notes backed up by some honey sweetness and typical dry JP funk on the finish. Medium, creamy body with lots of carbonation.
