bottle shared by mathieuc, thanks! gusher - hazy medium dark golden, red-pinkish hue, with a decent off-white head, some retention and lacing. light tart fruitiness along with breadied and toasted malts, woody notes, few spices, very nice floral bouquet, ginger-lemony notes. relatively dry. average carbonation for a saison, light body, nice lightly acidic and herbal-citrusy finish. a good saison.

8th October 2011 Cloudy red - brown beer. Big fluffy pale cream coloured head. Mild sour lactose nose. Light dry palate. Flavour is somewhat odd. Mild lactose and watery hibiscus - tangy, Mild floral notes - really just a bare whisper of rose. Mild minerals. Dry finish. It’s okay but too wishy washy.

Huge gusher upon opening, hopefully there was some left to be split 2-way. Pours murky brown with a nice and creamy white head. Smell is semi-funky with a hint of sourness detected. Nothing I could clearly point out as coming from the rose or hibiscus but still a bit of perfume here and there. Taste is mildly tart and fruity. Flavors are reminescent of La Roja but maybe a little subdued. A really nice saison still, a mighty fine one I would say!
4.2 AROMA 9/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 8/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 18/20 mikedR (413) - Gilbert, Arizona, USA - JAN 10, 2013
Very nice saison. Very aromatic in its floral notes. Flowery and slightly sour in taste. Perhaps just a bit too much carbonation. Acidic and lemony lingering flavor afterwards. Not the best saison, but definitely very good and perhaps excellent.

This bottled brew from a bottle shop poured a very large sized head of foamy light tan colored bubbles that were mostly lasting and left behind a softly carbonated transparent light copper brown colored body. The mild aroma was musty and lambic like. The mouth feel was tingly at the start and at the finish. The flavor contained notes of rose and mild hops. A decent one but not one that I would consider buying again.

[4590-20120706] 750mL bottle. Spiced apple rum yeast aroma. Clear, light amber body with a quick foamy off-white head. Light herbal grass flavour. Medium body. Interesting, and funny if those rose hips came from a valley. (7/3/7/3/14) 3.4

Acquired in a trade. 2010 batch, bottled in 2012. HUGE gusher. Lost half the bottle. Poured a glass out of it and a minute later, bubbles came out of the bottle again. Never had a half full beer continue to bubble over the neck.
A - Murky plum / amber brown. HUGE head of 10+ fingers had to pour insanely slow. Decent lacing head was purple white.
S - Tart grape skins on the nose, floral and blackberry scents as well. Some breadiness.
T - Nice up front bright raspberry tartness. The middle is an earthy light juicy where the hibiscus comes through. Finish is this very mild cherry and plum taste. Lots of low acid fruits come through and it’s a nice solid drinkable beer.
M - Medium body, tons of carbonation but the mouth feel is great.
O - I like this beer a lot. Drinkable.
