2.9 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 6/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 10/20
750 ml bottle. We got a gusher!! About 8 oz. ended up on the table and floor. Hazy pink color, with massive head retention. Aroma is all flowers and roast petals. Soap.
Flavor shows a sickly amount of hibiscus, rose petals, subtle barrel notes and old Belgian yeast. Light body with a huge lively mouthfeel due to the over carbonation/ infection. Perhaps if you like drinking dead flowers, you will really enjoy this beer. Entirely to much dead flowers.

3.7 AROMA 8/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 15/20
Bottled. Pours hazy deep golden with a small off-white head. Aroma of brett, yeast, wood and fruity notes and mild phenolic. Sweet/sour flavor that ends up dry and acidic. Medium bodied, oily texture and soft carb. A very nice and tasty Saison.

Blood orange color with 3 finger head. Nose of sour tropical fruit. Taste has grapefruit, orange, light malts, white wine, slightly sour grapes. Finishes with a grapefruit bitter kick, dry and quick. Refreshing.

3.5 AROMA 8/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 6/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 15/20
Batch 58 Bottled 05-16-2013. Not going to lie this bottle basically exploded with foam when opened, and it didn't stop foaming for about 5 minutes while pouring. I think the excessive foaming caused a but of an issue with the taste. This ale smells beautiful with rose notes and a bit of funk. The taste was flat but nice biscuity roses flavors. Maybe something was up with batch, but it has the feel of a potentially great saison just flat.

4 AROMA 8/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 8/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 16/20
Pours a dark orange with a huge heag that is gone rather quickly. Not sure my palate can detect rose bud or hibiscus but regardless it is delicous.

3.7 AROMA 8/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 14/20
Tasted from bottle. Pours a cloudy ruby with a nice thick fine white head. Great looking beer. Nice aroma of flowers, grapes, herbs, dark fruit. Taste is not overly sour which is probably why I like it since I'm not a sour fan. Flavors of flowers, hibiscus, herbs, vinous, grapes. Crisp effervescent sour tastes on the mouth. Medium bodied.

3.5 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 15/20
Rated on 8-21-2010 at Fort Wayne, IN Gathering. This bottled beer has a small fizzy off-white head that mostly diminishes, transparent amber body, and spotty amounts of lacing. The aromas are funky, floral, sour, and tart. The taste is sweet, floral, funky, fruity, and tart. The palate is soft carbonation and this beer is medium bodied. This beer smells more sour than it tastes which is a good thing for those of us who do not particularly care for sour tasting beers. This beer is worth trying.

4.4 AROMA 8/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 9/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 19/20
Bottle, shared with Parksy and Grippitis. Hazy deep golden pour with a lively white head. Lovely biscuit malts allow delicate, beautiful floral elements to shine. Some subtle spicy notes, mild bretty character and a tartness that doesn’t quite cross into sour territory. The finish is very dry. Fantastic.

4.1 AROMA 8/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 8/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 17/20
750 ml bottle into tulip glass, bottled on 6/10/2013. Massive gusher upon opening, but no lost beer. Took a while to pour it. Pours very hazy reddish orange color with a fairly dense and rocky off white head with great retention, that reduces to a nice cap that lasts. Dense foamy lacing clings on the glass, with a large amount of streaming carbonation retaining the head. Aromas of big green apple, pear, cherry, pineapple, lemon zest, rose petal, herbal, floral, grass, clove, light pepper, light caramel, bread, musty funk, and yeast earthiness. Damn nice aromas with good balance and complexity of fruity/earthy yeast, flower petal spice, and malt notes; with good strength. Taste of tart green apple, pear, lemon zest, cherry, bread, light caramel, rose petal, herbal, floral, grass, clove, pepper, musty funk, and yeast earthiness. Slight earthy tartness on the finish; with lingering notes of apple, pear, lemon zest, cherry, bread, light caramel, rose petal, herbal, floral, musty funk, and yeast earthiness on the finish for a good bit. Damn nice balance and complexity of fruity/earthy yeast, flower petal spice, and malt flavors; with a great malt/yeast balance and zero cloying flavors after the finish. Very high carbonation and medium bodied; with a very smooth, crisp, and moderately prickly mouthfeel that is nice. Alcohol is very well hidden with only a light warming present after the finish. Overall this is an excellent spiced saison. All around great balance and complexity of fruity/earthy yeast, flower petal spice, and malt flavors; and very smooth and crisp to sip on for the ABV. A very enjoyable offering.
