UPDATED: FEB 9, 2014 Been sitting on the bottle a few months so may be a tad behind freshness but wow this was good. Great fruity tart aroma, almost like a sour tea. The light pink head, and there are lots of it, is great and fluffy. Awesome tart berry and herbal taste and pretty smooth palate. The sour isn’t overly powerful, this beer rocks.

Beige, large, persistent head over orange amber beer. Medium plus aroma intensity, malty and herbaceous with tangerine, spice and honey. Smooth palate, my kind of lively carbonation, barely off-dry and lingering midpalate to a decent finish. Floral, dried fruits and herbs, though with a (for me) intrusive medicinal element. Still, a very good, almost great, beer with my burger.

Draft - Sour grape and a bit of grass. Cloudy gold with a bubbly white head. Sour grape, flowery, yeast and booze, sweet and fruity. A refreshing saison, but a bit too sweet for me.

Pleasant and easy to drink. Floral and fruit esters in the aroma. Wine-like. Ruby copper color that didn’t give a hint to its carbonation as it was pretty clear but had a big foamy head that was cream colored. Clean and smooth palate with a somewhat dry finish that left a sourness on the tongue. This was on the sour side of saisons with more wine and fruit flavors with some traces of oak. Subtle beer that was relatively complex.

Bottle from 16 Tons Taphouse, Eugene. Pours a reddish brown-pink, LOTS of off white head. Aroma floral, fluffy and funky, subtle yet complex. Body is lively, fruity with some herbal bitterness. Sublime.

Bottled 6/10/13, drank 11/22/13. Brought back from New Orleans to PA. Extremely lively carbonation. Have to pour very slowly, head grows as much as a finger after pour, tons of bubbles shooting up from bottom of Oxbow tulip. Three fingers thick, frothy, almost meringuey head featuring a pink hue in the right light. Pours a beautiful reddish brown, ruby amber color. Immediate aroma is a sour cherry funk smell. Upon closer nasal inspection, the funk features any earthy undertone that approaches tobacco. Spicy yeast. The floral notes lurk underneath the predominant funk smell. Once you pick them out, they are fairly prominent. Hibiscus and violet seem most predominant. Taste follows the nose quite nicely without any real surprises. Sour cherry, funky, Bretty saison flavor leads. Home stretch dips into the floral flavor. Finishes with both tart and near cloying floral sweetness tickling the tongue. Definitely a rose water flavor. That type of sweetness is what lingers on the tongue as this warms. Despite the lively carbonation, this isn't heavily carbonated on the tongue. The head prickles but not the beer itself. It's actually near medium-bodied with a thick softness, pillowy. I like my saisons more lively on the tongue. Similar to comparing Allagash Interlude mouthfeel to that of Anchorage Lovebuzz. Pretty good overall funky, tart saison. The floral notes to go along with tartness are interesting and unique. I think it works better in the aroma than the taste. Rose water taste can get a little sweet at times. Jolly Pumpkin knows it's way around a funky beer, though! ---Rated via Beer Buddy for iPhone
