On tap at jolly punpkin Ann Arbor poured into balloon tulip. Foam and foam and foam. Took the beer server a few minutes and a foam reservoir to make the pour. Pink to light reddish with a finger and a half of residual head and good retention. Brett yeast, tart citrus, rose hips and peppercorns come through on the nose. Tart and yeasty with some malt sweetness and the rose/hibiscus/peppercorn florals. Glad the server recommended this one, I wouldn’t have chosen it otherwise. Crisp, medium bodied, soft carbonation.

On tap at Churchkey. Muddy red pour. Aroma is spicy, lightly floral, a bit of brett funk. Flavor is very mildly tart, spicy, some Br3ett character. Earthy and kind of funky. Just ok.

Out of the bottle, overflow of suds, it’s a sort of rusty-peach color, slightly hazy, with lively, tan-rose colored foam, settles after about 6 minutes. It smells sweet and floral like rose, hibiscus, some champagne notes, caramel, lemon. It’s tart, carbonated and sweet, with some bready, earthy notes laying in the cut. It’s a nice blending of sour and Saison, got the body of a Saison, thinning a little as it warms, tartness subsiding with a toasty bitter finish. Right up my alley

750 ml bottle. Pours a hazy red amber with a large foamy white head that settles to a thin soapy film. Aroma is soft floral funk faint sweetness and citrus fruit/grapes and bread. Taste has a quick bitterness and follows with tart funk yeast and floral flavors and some fruit and bready finish. Palate is medium fizzy and dry. Pretty solid!

Bottle from Proof. Slightly hazy ruby/purplish pour with a large rocky white head. Very herbaceous aroma, lots of rose, yeast, slight spiciness and hints of lemon. Flavor is similar with a sweetness behind it and very carbonated zesty body. Pretty solid.
