Acquired in a trade. 2010 batch, bottled in 2012. HUGE gusher. Lost half the bottle. Poured a glass out of it and a minute later, bubbles came out of the bottle again. Never had a half full beer continue to bubble over the neck.

A - Murky plum / amber brown. HUGE head of 10+ fingers had to pour insanely slow. Decent lacing head was purple white.

S - Tart grape skins on the nose, floral and blackberry scents as well. Some breadiness.

T - Nice up front bright raspberry tartness. The middle is an earthy light juicy where the hibiscus comes through. Finish is this very mild cherry and plum taste. Lots of low acid fruits come through and itís a nice solid drinkable beer.

M - Medium body, tons of carbonation but the mouth feel is great.

O - I like this beer a lot. Drinkable.

02.23.2012 bottle, poured on 05.30.2015. Heavy ruby with a golden white frothy head. The aroma is the Jolly Pumpkin funk, the taste of rose petals is there, but is almost cherry like. Very great with age. Just wow.

1 pint 9 oz bottle from Mile High. This beer is a gorgeous deep red with a firm, everlasting white head. A little haze is apparent in the body. The aroma is a little funky, as expected from JP. Notes of barnyard come through with firm and balanced rose hips and hibiscus. The palate is appropriately spritzy and soft on the tongue. Man, this is a dry beer. Itís awesome. The hibiscus and rose hips are not subtle, but so naturally work with the base beer. Notes of coriander come through along with hints at straw, cheese, barnyard and lime zest. Itís pleasantly tart throughout. Another offering from JP which just reeks of craftsmanship.

On tap at Teresaís. Floral, rosy aroma. Slight malt, funky, sour, tartness with a spicy floral bite. Quite good but not overpowering. Subtly sour.

Smells like a sour saison. Taste is heavy saison character with very mild sourness. Carbonation is way too high. Medium body and lots of foam.

A nice, funky saison. Dry with a nice floral aroma. Sweetness accentuates the tart. Picked up at the Belfry in 2015.

Sweet but must not be a fan of the roses. Has an interesting flavor, itís not my favorite.

Good saison. Spiced well and nice carbonation. Cloudy and sediments at the bottom of bottle brought lots of flavor.

On tap, poured into a "balloon" snifter. The aroma is floral and bright with secondary yeast notes and a light pepper presence with a heated honey and mild burnt sugar note appearing late. The beerís hue is a murky, opaque mustard brown topped by a creamy white head that retains a thin, dense ring and leaves a sparse lace. The taste is a balance between a medium sweet and medium sour with a medium light bitter. The beer is syrupy with a fuzzy carbonation and a medium full body. The flavor profile is toast and citrus jam with some stone fruit. It finishes with a dry floral character and a crispness that leaves an aftertaste thatís lightly grassy and astringent, but doesnít leave any strong flavor characters

From a bottle, into snifter. Body is a cloudy peach, nose is fantastic, with light fruit, peach, apricot, very floral. Body is medium to light with silky carbonation that tingles the tounge, moderately sour with hints of funk. Balanced complex refreshing, great beer.

Tap. Pour bright red with orange hues and white head. Aroma is floral, wild, funky. Taste is light bodied, medium bodied, high carbonation. Overall, nice.
