Acquired in a trade. 2010 batch, bottled in 2012. HUGE gusher. Lost half the bottle. Poured a glass out of it and a minute later, bubbles came out of the bottle again. Never had a half full beer continue to bubble over the neck.

A - Murky plum / amber brown. HUGE head of 10+ fingers had to pour insanely slow. Decent lacing head was purple white.

S - Tart grape skins on the nose, floral and blackberry scents as well. Some breadiness.

T - Nice up front bright raspberry tartness. The middle is an earthy light juicy where the hibiscus comes through. Finish is this very mild cherry and plum taste. Lots of low acid fruits come through and it’s a nice solid drinkable beer.

M - Medium body, tons of carbonation but the mouth feel is great.

O - I like this beer a lot. Drinkable.

Pours hazy reddish pink with a large pink foam. Smells kind of floral with a subtle funky undertone. Taste is slightly funky, slightly tart, a little floral. Medium-bodied with a wet texture and average mouth-carbonation, Jolly Pumpkin Baudelaire Biere iO Saison finishes with a faint, lingering tartness.

Bottle thanks to Will. Pours a cloudy pink orange with thick white head leaving sticky lacing. The aroma is funk, yeast and hibiscus. Light fruit and funk, nice dry finish, very good.

Hazed plum meat color. Foamy white head. Sour aroma with oak notes. Flavor is sour fruit in oak. I cannot detect all the botanicals in flavor, only in color from the "beer"’s appearance. Finishes very bitter.... not seeing the attraction here to real people.

Draft pour. A beautiful red hue with a pink-tinted head. Aromas of roses and light lactic acidity, with a mild funk. Roses, red fruits, very light acidity and some mild funk in the flavor. A very pleasing sour.

Tap, Jolly Pumpkin, Ann Arbor, MI. Hazy pink red. Mild aroma, berry and yeast. Mild flavour. Sweet with some floral and very faint berry. Bright milky finish.

Murky, peach-brown in color with a thick frothy head which I swear gives off a pinkish hue atop the beer below. Sour fruit aroma, plenty of funk, hay. Very smooth initially with a bite towards the finish. Berries throughout with sour bananas and a pleasant acidity. Great, but not elite.

Bottle, 6.8%. Violent gusher. Very citric aroma, lactic and quite funky. Red wine notes, very complex. Hazy amber colour. Small off-white head. The flavour is not as extreme as the aroma, but nice and powerful. There is a good acid, slightly sharp, but not extreme. Some funk and notes of red vinaigre. Fruity sourness. Not what I would call a saison, more like a sour, but good nonetheless.

Hazy light amber color with high white head. Aroma of cherry, fruit. Cherry flauvour, sour taste. Sourish finish. Ok, but too fruity to my taste.

Bottle, happy gusher... Cloudy amber, rocky white head. Vinous, funky aroma, sour apples. Sourish, funky flavour, more vinous notes with a good acetic bite.

Bottle @ Rowdy Rebel Revel, Sønderborg. Pours hazy dark amber with rocky, airy but stable off-white head. Clear, vinous aroma with estery notes and malty and hoppy touches. Vinous and hoppy flavour with notes of fruit and malt. Hints of pumpkin and dust. Lingering, sourish aftertaste with bitter and estery hints. Well-balanced and enjoyable.
