A saison. One of the best on the planet. Great color, aroma, a and a little bit of funk.

Bottle, 6.8%. Violent gusher. Very citric aroma, lactic and quite funky. Red wine notes, very complex. Hazy amber colour. Small off-white head. The flavour is not as extreme as the aroma, but nice and powerful. There is a good acid, slightly sharp, but not extreme. Some funk and notes of red vinaigre. Fruity sourness. Not what I would call a saison, more like a sour, but good nonetheless.

Hazy light amber color with high white head. Aroma of cherry, fruit. Cherry flauvour, sour taste. Sourish finish. Ok, but too fruity to my taste.

Bottle, happy gusher... Cloudy amber, rocky white head. Vinous, funky aroma, sour apples. Sourish, funky flavour, more vinous notes with a good acetic bite.

Bottle @ Rowdy Rebel Revel, Sønderborg. Pours hazy dark amber with rocky, airy but stable off-white head. Clear, vinous aroma with estery notes and malty and hoppy touches. Vinous and hoppy flavour with notes of fruit and malt. Hints of pumpkin and dust. Lingering, sourish aftertaste with bitter and estery hints. Well-balanced and enjoyable.

Bottled on 2/11/2012. Color: Brownish orange. Aroma: Floral (Rose comes out as it warms), mineral, musty straw, light cherry, yeast. Palate: Understated, gentle, soft mouth feel. Intense, tingly carbonation. Flavor: Light, soft cherry, floral, Rose, subtle funk, yeast. Finishes with gentle acidity. Comment: very light and delicate flavors in contrast to the more forward and complex and brilliant aroma. It pays to let it air and warm for 20-30 minutes to help bring out the flavor.

Pours an amber color with a boiled fruit aroma. Taste is a good mixture of sour fruit and mild sweetness. A champagne like fruit flavor, recognizable hibiscus and flower petals taste. A good dry aftertaste, with a little tickly bubbles.

Pours a cloudy red and brown with lots of white bubbly head. Aroma is very herby. I Def smell the hibiscus. I?m not sure I could id rosehips, tbh. Smells great. Really rich flavor. Towards dry, but body is medium. A bit tart in a berry fruit way. Good, complex. A bit intense. I prefer my saisons to be more drinkable.
