Jolly Pumpkin Bière de Mars

Bottled. A hazy dark amber beer with a thin orange head. The aroma is very sweet with strong notes of caramel and alcohol, as well as light spicy notes. The flavor is sweet with hints of acidity from brettanomyces and with notes of fruits - I pick up passion fruit and pineapples, leading to a dry bitter end that also hides notes of wood.

(Bottle 35,5 cl) Courtesy of sk8viking. Hazy, orangey golden with a beige head. Acidic, woody aroma with some "noble rot" - very much like a Flemish Sour. Medium body with extremely dy caramel accents, overripe fruit and flowers. The finish is both acidic and bitter. Very delicate indeed. 290407

(750ml bottle, thanks Barry) Hazy copper body with big off-white head. Aroma is mild, medium sweet, yeasty, spice, caramel, light funk. Taste is medium sweet, some earthy, light wood, metallic. Light-medium body.

Bottle. Hazy amber colour with a medium beige head. Malty, light acid, dried fruits aroma and taste. Medium body with a dry light acid finish.
