Bottle from Knightly. Why did I wait this long to pick up a bottle? Pours a dark amber color with a nice fluffy head. Good retention the whole way through. The aroma shows flowers, brett, apples, and a lesser dark fruit scent. Flavors are nicely tart and sour with apples, pears and cherries. Lots of brett and very dry in the finish. Everything meshes really well here. YUM, this is delicous! A little expensive, yeah, but I want more!

Pours dark amber brown with a decent beige head. Smells of sour apple bubble gum and spiced malt. Tastes like sour apples, sour grape, some smoked wood, some spice, slightly citrusy, tart, very acidic. White wine-like dry finsh. This is the first beer of this style that I have tryed and it is overwhelmingly good. Its not like anything Ive tried. Very complex and very unusual. Awesome.

Bottle @ Cervezageek - smagning, Odense. Batch 346/348. Pours clear dark amber with a small creamy white head. Super complex nose. Oak, tart, fresh, brett, fruit. Smooth and crisp. Nuts and caramel flavor with brett tickling the cheek. Ends dry. Nice

Slightly hazy chestnut with a lasting off-white head. Aroma of wine barrel, vanilla and caramel, with a little horse-blanket brett. Dry and tart, with cherry notes and brett and quite complex oak.

75 cL bottle. Pours dark brown with a short lasting tan head. Aroma is sour, fruity and slight wooden to sulphorish. That sourness in Jolly Pumpkin beers really remind me about infections rather than complex wild brett fermentation. Fruity, sulphorish and slight wooden flavoured. Vague peppery and yeasty flavoured. Hint of cherry like notes. Dry, mild sulphorish and acidic finish.

Bottle@Oslo Øljunta Olympen Gathering. A cloudy, amber-brown beer with a low offwhite head on top. Initial aroma of crisp, fruity sourness, followed by a scent of wood, pepper and horse blanket. Taste is superdry with a light malt body. Bretty with an acidulous fruitness, lemon peel, spices and a light tartness. A palate-cleanser. Spices and tart fuits in the ending. Fresh and quenching, good drinkability

A refined sour that tastes much like an Oud Bruin. The beer pours a reddish brown color with amber highlights and a dissipating head that leaves little lacing. The aroma is sweet and fruity, lemons, apples, grapes, barley. The flavor is rich and deeper than expected. There’s a medium acidity with a healthy oak flavor. The flavors meld quite well for an Oud Bruin, but I really haven’t had many. The feel is relatively light. The alcohol is well-hidden. It’s another sour that makes me wish sours were cheap and plentiful because I could drink it all night.

Bottle shared at a BA tasting - I’ve also seen it at City Beer in SF. Cloudy dark brown color with an off-white head. Aroma somewhat funky with brett and also sweet caramel malt. Flavor malty and fairly tart, yet also a bit sweet, with caramel, oak, and dark fruits. Body medium, somewhat dry on the finish. Pretty good overall but not a standout.
