Smooth body and crips flavor, sweet, somewhat tart, and a little spicy - has that distinct "Jolly Pumpkin" touch. Finish is dry. All in all a well balanced and good beer. Very inviting nose had elements of yeast, citrus and spice. Yeast notes were especially great to smell. Mouthfeel was really nice. Lively carbonation at first, but it mellowed to perfection. Texture was chewy and smooth. Finish was dry and not cloying. Wheaty malts had only a slight sweetness, which offset the bitterness very nicely. In the background there was oak, dried apricot and tart raspberries. Tartness was perfect, btw. What a wonderfully pleasant beer. Very nice. Emil (6074), Copenhagen, Denmark

| 4 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 8/10 | 4/5 | 7/10 | 5/5 | 16/20 | May 4, 2007 Poured dark hazy brown color with a white head that actually grew for about 5 minutes after the beer was poured. The aroma made me think this was going to have quite a bit of sourness. The aroma had a nice yeast maltiness to it. Flavor was really smooth and easy to drink. A lot of light fruitiness maybe a slight citrus feel to it. A slight tartness and bitterness to this one. This one feels great in the mouth, good carbonation and a body that fits the beer well. This beer would be pleasing on a cold winter night or a hot summer day. Refreshing yet still packs a mouthful of flavor. Papsoe (14883), Frederiksberg, Denmark

Acidic, woody aroma with some "noble rot" - very much like a Flemish Sour. Medium body with extremely dy caramel accents, overripe fruit and flowers. The finish is both acidic and bitter. Very delicate indeed. 290407 Ungstrup (15105), Frederiksberg, Denmark
| 3.6 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 7/10 | 3/5 | 7/10 | 4/5 | 15/20 | Apr 30, 2007 Bottled. A hazy dark amber beer with a thin orange head. The aroma is very sweet with strong notes of caramel and alcohol, as well as light spicy notes. The flavor is sweet with hints of acidity from brettanomyces and with notes of fruits - I pick up passion fruit and pineapples, leading to a dry bitter end that also hides notes of wood. [Many thanks to Sk8viking for sharing this one] Average creamy beige head that mostly diminished. Hazy mahogany color. Spar lacing. Nice raisins, sweet grapefruit, caramel, hops. Medium to full bodied with a light dry and alcoholic texture. The Brett is present. Flavor was light bitter notes with some sweet malt base and even some vinegar sour notes as well. Light dry and bitter finish. madsberg (4958), Søborg, Denmark

Sweetness, light vinegar and some fruits in the nose. The characteristic brett is there. Flavour as well has brett-notes. Light sour vinegar, fruits and spice comes to mind. Quite complex. Is medium to full bodied. Qutie dry. Is grapish and light bitter in the end. Very refreshing. One of my favourites from JP, which IMO keeps a pretty high standard.
