Bottle...pours a murky copper with a thick cream head. Nose has hints of lime zest, sweet caramel, bread dough, mild barnyard notes and a nice vinous merlot twang. Very tart up front quickly turns dry and oaky...leading to a bit of citrus zest and a dry, clean finish. Gotta love the Jolly Pumpkin!

Batch 253 sampled at hellbilly*s holiday tasting. Pours a cloudy iced tea amber with a light tan head. Nose is sour cherries, dried fruits, light balsamic vinegar and malt. Taste is tart cherries, light funk, lemon peel with a wet cardboard like finish. Very dry prickly mouth feel. Good stuff.

Bottle - 75 cl. Heads up for an excellent work with the labels. Dark and amber-golden that is almost clear with a white head. I scent citrus and almonds and something like lactose. The taste is calm, sourish and not very powerfull. I taste vinegar, some orange-peel and tonicwater

tons of sour.tart chocolate malts ... pours a basic brown with a great looking head .. earthy, wine barrel aromas .. i am ready to get 86ed ... light fruit also ...clean, not overly dry.. subtle yet defined ... sour notes, not ripe apples, mellow. i could drink this right after running the boston marathon ... nice stuff from JP...
