Bottle, bought @ Ølbutikken, Cph.
Pours hazy light brown with a nice, staying, creamy beige head. Aroma has notes of raspberries, brett, light roasted notes, oak, apples and a slight pepperiness. Highish, prickly carbonation, fine and light mouthfeel. Flavour has brett, oak, super dryness, light apple. Some roasted notes in the background with some milky chocolate and grapes. This is the winter beer, morphing into a spring beer. Nice!

Lightly hazed brown ale with a thin creamy off white head. Woody cherry aroma, with barnyard qualities, veering on white wine. In mouth, a nice light flemish sour, with lactic notes, light herbal character, nice and quite interesting. At the Mondiale, June 2006.

Bottle syas oak aged, but this must be the one. Tasted @ UDRM, Oirschot. Oak, leather and lemon in the intense aroma. Vinous oaky flavor with caramel and even a bit of chocolate. The oak comes back stronger in the aftertaste. Great beer.

Served on draft at the Michigan Summer Beerfest, 2010, as part of RBSG festivities. Pours a hazy dark orange amber color with a thin head. Fair head retention and lacing. Tart aroma of cherries, peaches and an earthy funkiness. The taste is very tart cherries, apples, a bit of vinegar and lemon. Thin-medium bodied. Nice beer.

750 mL bottle received via trade with jrob_21. Pours hazy amber with a large, frothy, off-white head, lasting with good lacing. Aroma is heavy malt (bread, hay, straw), average hops (flowers, herbs, grass), heavy yeast (barnyard, earth) with notes of apple, cherry, cask, and bandages. Medium bodied, oily texture, average carbonation, and a bitter finish. Average duration, light sweetness, moderate acidity and bitterness.

Bottled. Amber coloured. Unclear. Dense off white head. Sweetness, light vinegar and some fruits in the nose. The characteristic brett is there. Flavour as well has brett-notes. Light sour vinegar, fruits and spice comes to mind. Quite complex. Is medium to full bodied. Qutie dry. Is grapish and light bitter in the end. Very refreshing. One of my favourites from JP, which IMO keeps a pretty high standard.
