Pours orange-brown body with thick creamy head with nice lacing. Smells of spicy apple, dark fruit and cherries. Tastes the same with hints of cinnamon and spices. There’s a lot going on here, and it’s all good. Not usually my choice of beer.

2013 bottle thanks to Roger. Remarkably clear amber pour with creamy head. Nice nose of caramel, toast, oak, and lemon funk. Basically a bretted amber. Moderately tart, drying finish. Medium body, average carbonation. Overall: very nice.

Bottle. Wild yeast, cherries and oak in the aroma. Taste is sour fruits, oak, chestnuts, plums, a more classic Flanders red (as opposed to the more vinegary brown) but with some funk and lemon as well. Mild carbonation. Really, really good.

Pours an amber/brown with a thin white head. Aroma is lactic acid, fruit, and herbal and spice notes. Flavor is similar. This is pretty sour. Pretty good.

Nocturne (1731) - Cheshire, ENGLAND - JUN 23, 2016
750ml bottle. Murky orange shade. Finger of head. Notes of grape, green apple, citrus, deep earthiness and oak. Dry and slightly sour taste. Nicely joined up. Seems like a good example of this style.

onceblind (6916) - Denver, Colorado, USA - JUN 4, 2016
Clear deep amber with a thin off white bubbly head that recedes a little fast. Earthy funky and peppery nose full of white pepper, lactic and bretty combined funk, earthy Amber brine and something almost like Colby jack cheese. Funky earthy flavor with a slightly tart Amber malt, gentle citrus fruitiness, light sour, and some barrel notes. Earthy and peppery and slightly red-berry flavored throughout.

2016-2-12 bottle, the yeast seemed too spontaneous ferment, good pucker factor, no malt, little body, have had better Flanders, but this was enjoyable.
