Bottle, bought @ Ølbutikken, Cph.
Pours hazy light brown with a nice, staying, creamy beige head. Aroma has notes of raspberries, brett, light roasted notes, oak, apples and a slight pepperiness. Highish, prickly carbonation, fine and light mouthfeel. Flavour has brett, oak, super dryness, light apple. Some roasted notes in the background with some milky chocolate and grapes. This is the winter beer, morphing into a spring beer. Nice!

Bottle @ Cervezageek - smagning, Odense. Batch 346/348. Pours clear dark amber with a small creamy white head. Super complex nose. Oak, tart, fresh, brett, fruit. Smooth and crisp. Nuts and caramel flavor with brett tickling the cheek. Ends dry. Nice

750 ml bottle. Batch #256. Pours a mahogany brown with a tall off white head that fades down quickly. Aroma is really nice. Lots of oak, barnyard, cherries, touch of spice. I’m surprised by the tartness of the flavors. Oak, apples, cherries, cherry pits, with an earthy oak finish that dries out nicely. This is really refreshing. I’m really surprised by this one, another great JP. And that label is pretty sweet too.

Finally trying this bottle. Not quite sure what took so long. Poured an opaque brown color with a nice head. Aroma is tart and fruity, maybe some sour berries if you think about it. Taste is sourdough, definite oak, some sweet malt, and an acidic dry finish. A very relaxed funky biere de garde, well done as usual.

Thanks to joebrew for sharing. Plenty of head on this gold colored pour. This bottle didn’t exploded like the last JP we opened, which was a pleasant surprise. Excellent spicy nose with some nutmeg, cinnamon, and something I don’t recognize. Ripe fruit taste.

Bottle...pours a murky copper with a thick cream head. Nose has hints of lime zest, sweet caramel, bread dough, mild barnyard notes and a nice vinous merlot twang. Very tart up front quickly turns dry and oaky...leading to a bit of citrus zest and a dry, clean finish. Gotta love the Jolly Pumpkin!

batch 256 bottle shared by sparky27.

hazy auburn/maple syrup color with a small off white head. lots of caramel in the nose... notes of wood, red wine, spicy brett, rubbery cherry skins, slate and flowers. the palate is a great balance of sweet/caramel versus dry versus tart... toasted walnut skins, lots of tannins, caramel, herbaceous and grassy, wood, brett stink and it’s dryness with a black peppery finish. there’s a lot of watered down wood aged red wine vinegar noted as well. it’s on the lighter side of medium bodied. dry tart mouth feel is slick with little to no carbonation.

this gets way stinkier as it warms near the end of the bottle! 8/4/8/3/16/3.9

another batch 256 from psprings... this one is throwing off a bunch of bleu cheese along with that jp funk!...mmm. crisp feel from airy carbonation. rating stands.
