4.2 AROMA 8/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 10/10 PALATE 5/5 OVERALL 16/20
Appearance: Very pale gold color, almost yellow. A bit of yeast cloudiness which fits the style. Large creamy head that lasts a while.
Aroma: Very light and citrus-y, a bit of a sour twang that I really enjoy but seems to dominate the senses.
Taste: A little sour but perfectly balanced with a clean, tart aftertaste. Tastes a bit like cider but has a great brett taste that I loved. No hop character at all.
Palate: Pretty thin but very intensely carbonated, finishes clean with a nice tart pucker.
Overall: Hands down my favorite wit (my favorite style mind you!) and definitely in my top 5. It’s a fantastic tasting beer and stands out among every other wit I’ve tried, but like most wits it doesn’t hold your interest for more than a glass or so.

3.6 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 16/20
Draft at Bru Craft. Hazy pale yellow pout with fizzy soft white foam that left a lasting ring but no lace. Bright citrus florals with just a hint of straw. Modestly tart. Lemon shortbread. Clementine marmalade. Grape leaves. Loquats. Oyster crackers. Thirst quenching.

3.9 AROMA 8/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 8/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 16/20
Very murky bright sandy yellow, very thin bubbly head. Nose is a rich sweaty zest, a bit burnt plastic and soft earthiness. Initial taste is a rich vibrant tartness, stoney fruit and veg. Carbonation is sleek and mouthfeel is gritty. Finishes a fair power of grapefruit and pineapplely with lingers of more rich tartness. What is Wit. Bottle, Beermoth.

Taste - more of the same.
Palate - light to medium bodied with a tangy texture and a long dry finish.

4.3 AROMA 10/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 8/10 PALATE 5/5 OVERALL 16/20
The witbier’s orange-citrus character and lemony tart, sour character really works well together. Nice.
