An artisan white ale brewed in the classic biere blanche tradition. Spiced with orange peel and coriander, you'll find it refreshingly tart, with a wonderful dry finish.

Appearance: Very pale gold color, almost yellow. A bit of yeast cloudiness which fits the style. Large creamy head that lasts a while. Aroma: Very light and citrus-y, a bit of a sour twang that I really enjoy but seems to dominate the senses. Taste: A little sour but perfectly balanced with a clean, tart aftertaste. Tastes a bit like cider but has a great brett taste that I loved. No hop character at all. Palate: Pretty thin but very intensely carbonated, finishes clean with a nice tart pucker. Overall: Hands down my favorite wit (my favorite style mind you!) and definitely in my top 5. Itís a fantastic tasting beer and stands out among every other wit Iíve tried, but like most wits it doesnít hold your interest for more than a glass or so.

The witbierís orange-citrus character and lemony tart, sour character really works well together. Nice.

Bottle into a glass. Super hazy hay pour. Aroma of spice, funk, horse blanket, earth, pepper, apples. Taste is tart apples, spice, funk, fruity esters, white bread. Slight tartness. Crisp and refreshing, easy drinking but complex.

Pours a cloudy golden yellow with fizzy head. Aromas of citrus peel, yeast, hay, and some coriander. Flavors of coriander, a little vegatal, and some nice barrel. Tart beautiful wit.

UPDATED: NOV 22, 2015 A hazy golden pour without much foam. The aroma is spicy, citrusy, with some slight lacto funk. Some sea buckthorn and anonymous berries. Some orange zest, too. The mouthfeel is silky, punctuated by needly but agreeable carbonation. The taste leans tart, with residual fruity sweetness. Flavors of berries, cola, and a hint of brown sugar smooth out the acidity and are finished off by some mild, mineraly astringency for a dry finish. Deliciously fruity, mildly herbal (coriander) aftertaste. Refreshing. Not sure this is what a Witbier should scrictly speaking taste like -- but in the summer that discussion would be purely academic.

Crazy interesting aroma with lots of the spice standing out and firm funkiness, think barnyard and maybe a hint of lacto. Drinks really nice and is super dry with a quenching tartness. I enjoyed the spice in this beer more than most in this style category. Good beer especially for those who like sour but not over the top sour.

Damn Great wit. Hazy light golden color with big fluffy head. Aroma of wheat clove fennel and more. Taste of the same with some grapefruit and sour wine. The cloves continue throughout to balance the mild tartness. Light grains stick around to the dry finish.

Bottle from the LCBO. Pours a super active clear golden colour, head is white and wonít stop pouring out of the bottle, reminds me of Orval. Head dies down to a thin layer, leaving some clumpy lacing behind. Nose is fruity, distinctly Belgian like. Tastes, sweet, a bit tart. Really tasty.

Shared bottle in Atlanta. A very funky witbier, although Iíd classify this as a sour white ale. Moderately tart and rather lemony. Some vinegar in the somewhat medicinal aroma.
