An artisan white ale brewed in the classic biere blanche tradition. Spiced with orange peel and coriander, you'll find it refreshingly tart, with a wonderful dry finish.

UPDATED: JAN 8, 2005 Absolutely delicious. This stuff is the best white ale in the U.S. -- dethroning another Michigan favorite, Celis. Brilliant luminescent gold with a tinge of olí redheadhead ... a strawberry blonde. Sour and zippy aroma tinged with some citrus and yeast. Delectable sweet finish which with some hoppiness. A very pronounced sense of freshness. This is a spring beer, no doubt about it, celebrating zymurgic life. Grand.

Great looking artistic label that reflect well the crafty brewery. OK, maybe I should of not tilted that bottle to get the good stuff at the bottom of the bottle. Complete volcano occurred with the heavy carbonation. Cloudy amber-yellow colour with a crazy foamy head, long retention and some soapy patches. Not expecting this big sourness, as thought this was a witbier. Lots of citrus with the lemon notes, and even some apples. The taste is still sour, but not as much. Craft brew yeast mostly with some mild fruits (previously mentioned). Crafty yes, but really not what I was expecting. Not one I would try again, especially for the price. Not sure if this is infected with this sourness that should not be in a witbier. Did I mention, not a fan ?

Very refreshingly tart, fascinating yeast character. Decent malt body underneath that balances the carbonation. Sharp citrusy notes in the finish which are very pleasing. ---Rated via Beer Buddy for iPhone

This beer is deeeeeeeeeee-lish, though I gotta tell you the initial head is a bit crazy. Iíve had a Belgian Wit Brett before, but this one is excellent. Pour a cloudy yellow, with a huge level of white head which takes it time to settle to nothing, eventually. Some nice sour apple brett in the nose, little banana, not really getting the cilantro but thatís okay. The taste is again, sour-apple brett, but not overpowering, nice wheat malts, overall great flavour.

I just tried this last night and was really quite impressed. To me, the aroma and flavors were very funky and bitter grapefruit along with the obvious sourness from the Brett, but i failed to notice any peppercorn or oak notes even in passing. This was very tastey and easy to drink, Iíd definitely buy it again.

Pours a hazy creamy light yellow, big big white head. Aroma of hay, funky Brett yeast, hard boiled egg, coriander, orange, dank basement must. Flavor is light and fruity wheat to start, gets funky & Brett.. Acidic on the back end. Easy breezy beautiful sour beer.

Cloudy pale yellow, quite a bit of white head. Super fresh citrus, sweaty socks. Pretty intensely sour, some hint of bitterness. Mild citrusy sweetness. Mid light body, very effervescent. Quite acidic. Pretty interesting and good. ---Rated via Beer Buddy for iPhone

750 mL bottle. Pours a hazy golden yellow with a suspicious quantity of pure white head. Orange, lemon, coriander, yeast spice and light mossy/funky brett tones on the nose, slightly woodsy/oaky as well. Champagne dry with some lacto sourness on the finish. Light bodied and very heavy on the carbonation. Delicious and complex but somehow simple and refreshing.

750 ml bottle from the LCBO. I heard it was a gusher so I left it in the fridge for more than a week and handled it very gently. It still gushed, but not much. Cloudy light yellow with massive white head, millions of tiny bubbles. Very lively carbonation. Smells like lime, lemons, peppery, some barnyard notes. Taste is the same, very tart, dry, refreshing. I could drink this all day long.

2014/07/16 - What a gusher! Pours a hazy straw colour with a massive, gushing, frothy white head that leaves moderate lacing. Aroma is not at all what I had expected; Belgian yeast, wheat, Brett funk, citrus, light pepper and mild spice. Taste follows nose. Nice Brett funk balanced by tart citrus, mild pepper and clove/coriander spice. This is how I imagine a saison-wit hybrid would taste. Body is light to medium with sharp carbonation and a tart, refreshing finish. Pleasantly surprised by this interesting beer. ---Rated via Beer Buddy for iPhone
